Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Simple basic accommodation, good bathroom, satisfactory breakfast. Its bargan VFM, It aint the ritz but its nr the town centre, its clean yet faded. For a travelling single person wanting a warm bedroom and a breakfast it is excellent VFM

The hotel was very tired, with old, dated fittings and furnishings, and the room cleanliness could have been a bit better. There was a very long hair in the shower tray, and there were bits of stuff on the room carpet. However that may be a bit harsh as it clear the staff throughly clean the rooms and it’s easy to miss bits. There was no lounge area, which would have been nice. However I don’t want to be too harsh as the good far outweighed the bad and I would most definitely opt to stay there again should I be in the area for more than a day again. Value for money is absolutely excellent
The Hotel provided everything I needed for my stay. The hotel and room was basic but very comfortable, quiet, and the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was traditional, but lovely. Ideal in fact.

The Brekfast was very good apart from the Fried bread was not on the Breakfast which is a shame.

room was clean and tidy /bathroom was nice and clean good layout throughout the hotel breakfast was very good the staff very efficient and breakfast served quite quickly good choice of breakfast didn't have to stick to set menu staff were happy to hear requests staff very helpful when explaining local pubs and eateries plenty of local entertainment flyers in foyer and off street parking would recommend this place to others.

Breakfast time is very limited.Arrived 15 mins late .They had shut off by 9am.Especially on a week-end the time for breakfast should be extended to at least 9.30-10am. I have never stayed anywhere which only allow 1hr 30 mins for Breakfast .Majority of hotels breakfast is 7am-10am.That was very disappointing

Whilst it wasn't not clean, I've definitely stayed in cleaner rooms. Did the job though, no complaints.
It's basic, but it's cheap, so no complaints there. Staff all very friendly, room nice and big, breakfast good.

Multiple repairs needed doing in the room, cracks on every ceiling and walls, the windows are really old so traffic noise was loud. The rear car park is really tight and the access road was nearly undrivable
The place was good value for money, the free breakfast was OK what you would expect of a free breakfast. The location was great for what I needed it for.

Better checks need to be made for linen and towels in the room - the duvet on the bed in my room had questionable stains on it. However, the duvet was changed on reporting to the manager.
Staff - the owers were helpful and accomodating especially as I had to stay an extra day.

No receptionist in the morning for checking out. However as new to the town, I needed support for transport to move on but no one to help.

Was good throughout my stay

Only main light worked and was dim. Over bed lights had no covers on and didn’t work.
Good sized Fridge in room. Comfy beds. Grandson loved it. Lovely breakfast with cooked choice and toast and cereal. White table cloth.

Non working TV remote
Room 7, Great price, clean and tidy room, tea and coffee + biscuits, only problem was the remote for the tv not working,probably requires new batteries. Breakfast was excellent, cereals,full English and it's variations. I had two poached egg on brown toast.

The facilities are basic. The decor is dated. There didn't appear to be a bar (although one is mentioned in the website) or a place to sit in the lobby.
This 2 star hotel was good value and perfect for a group of friends travelling to see a match in Franklins Park. The beds were comfortable. Clean sheets and towels. The breakfast was good (if a lttle early). Good free wifi.

Free parking but it was absolutely terrible, had to try and go through a very narrow alleyway with a van and in the end I gave up as it was absolutely impossible to get round a tight bend without destroying my vehicle to get to the car park! And no hash browns for breakfast! Kettle didn't work!
Sensible price that includes breakfast and not a bad location that wasn't too far from public transport if needed.
