Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

More like advice for future guests… run the water before getting in the shower. It takes a while to warm up 🥶 Once warm it was lovely though
Comfortable and spacious room with lots of little extras - alternative milk, sewing kit, complimentary bottled water and a friendly welcome. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The continental breakfast was delicious and ample and the hosts made us really welcome.

Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Lovely and clean. Complimentary bottles of water available from Reception. Central location, close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Free parking.

Parking was awkward. The car park is very small and was full on arrival. The hotel provides a permit for on street parking, but finding a space nearby wasn’t easy. The bedroom was fine, with a comfortable bed, but quite small. The only space to sit was on the bed, so I’d say it was fine for a night or two, but wouldn’t want to stay there longer.
Convenient location and an excellent continental breakfast with lots of choices including a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurts, crumpets and more. Helpful friendly staff. Quiet room in spite of being in a busy town. Lots of places to eat out a short walk away.

There were three couples in our group, it was a bit of pot luck with the room choice, but ours was a lot smaller than the others. It was clean and warm, and the double bed was comfortable, it lacked storage space for clothes that you would put in draws. the bathroom was nice but again lacked shelving or cupboard room.
The Breakfast was a continental mix which had plenty to choose from, with cheese, ham, fruit etc. The staff were very friendly and were very welcoming on our arrival. it was position A for getting into the town.

The room was a little chilly late at night and first thing in the morning. (Not bad enough to make any fuss about though.) Otherwise we absolutely loved our stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room, excellent breakfast - varied and plentiful. And free parking! Highly recommended, and we would stay again.

The lighting in the room is very dim. The extractor in the shower is very noisy
The room was clean and tiday, and the bed was very comfortable, however the pillows were not comfortable. One plug next to the bed didn't work and the central heating only came on for a short time in the morning. Luckily there was a separate heater. Very nice breakfast!

Would have liked some warmer foods like eggs for breakfast.
Great staff, excellent location. Good breakfast included. Cosy room, though on the smaller side. Had hot showers, toilet supplies, hair dryer and coffee pantry. In-premise and on-street free parking was cherry on top.

Not much Parking on premises. I was lucky as I arrived much earlier than anticipated, although they do have parking permits I believe.
Good location on edge of city. Warm welcome. Arrived early and was OK to check in. Very nice Continental breakfast. Good choice of fruit juice, cold meat, cheeses, yoghurts, pastries, etc.

Some noise from outside and from other rooms, light coming into room under door at night, shower slightly unpredictable.
