The floorboards made so much noise I felt guilty for whoever room was below but it can't be helped because of the age of the building

The hotel has lots of old features which we love the room and bathroom were a good size

A cooked breakfast wasn’t available. I requested one the evening before but when I came down in the morning there was no one around. I requested it again for my 2nd morning and was assured it would be available - in fact the management offered it for free by way of compensation (I hadn’t been aware that it would cost extra) But on this 2nd morning there was no bacon or sausage in the kitchen, so the manager had to go to the local shop to buy some. The time this took meant I would have been late for my morning appointment so I left without having had a proper cooked breakfast, just a single piece of toast, for which the cleaner had to find the butter. Nothing had been prepared. In the bedroom, although I was glad to find tea/coffee making facilities, there was no cup and only 1 small sachet of instant coffee. The room was comfortable and the staff were very kind, it’s just a bit sad that so little care had been put into offering the basic facilities one expects at a B&B. I hope this review will help them improve. They’re sweet people, just unprepared.

    Lovely location. Well cleaned room.

The room radiators were off so room was very cold and took a while to heat up. The pub only provides continental breakfast as has no cook.

Convenient and relatively cheap for plays in Stratford with only a 10-15 minute drive. Staff are nice. The room had a bath which was good.

Booked breakfast at reception for the next morning but no one was there, and there was no food. Another couple had the same problem and had called the phone number we were given but there was no one at the property. Told they would be there in 10 minutes but no one arrived. Not very professional.

Room was clean. Tea and coffee available had a bath even though only a shower was advertised. Website says check out by 10 but we were told we could stay longer and didn’t need to rush as new guests wouldn’t get there until 3pm.

Bed mattresses for the double bed and the sofa bed were not very comfortable but still ok for a one night stay.

Room size was suitable for our family. Location and car park availability was good as well. The Inn also accomodated our request for late check-out well in advance. Access to Stratford-upon-Avon via train was useful.

no one was around when we checked out so that was odd. It's quite a way from the attractions and the uber's were starting to add up. They do not have food available. All in all, it was a lovely 2 nights.

The pub was very convenient and quite nice. The room was lovely with a great view of the green. The staff very friendly.

The location might not suit those people without a car. There are no restaurants/cafes nearby, so to get something to eat you will need to get on a train or go by car. Also, we asked for a breakfast the day before the leave and agreed on the time with staff, however, the staff the next morning was all asleep (or busy) because they might have simply forgot about our breakfast order. It did not make much trouble for us, we just left and continued our journey.

The property itself looks very nice and comfortable. Downstairs there is a pub and anyone can get a drink. At the same time, the pub noise does not reach the rooms we were staying in. So it was very peaceful.

We had the twin room very basic and it was a little tired. Toilet seat and bathroom in general could do with a little tlc.Rather noisy due to what sounded like a pump of some sort going on and off through the night. The beds are very basic and hard not comfortable.

Friendly staff in lovely surroundings. Toiletries towels hairdryer all supplied.

The breakfast was a rip off I'm afraid to say. £7.50 per person for absolute bugger all. There was a loaf of bread, some pastries that have been left out all night. We were promised bacon sandwiches but there wasn't a single person there to ask. The room was a mess I wouldn't want to eat in there. I would really like my money back for the breakfast as we didn't have anything. Absolute rip off.

The room was lovely and they left us a bottle of prosecco
