To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything we didn't like everything was perfect just for me I felt price was a little steep at £550 per night but that wont deter me from returning again in the future.
We were greeted by very efficient staff who made us feel very welcome, hotel was beautiful. I'm a Breakfast lover and can say that breakfast was fantastic and the Haggis was the best I've ever tasted. I would highly recommend the parking Offred by hotel just made whole visit seamless. Location was excellent turn left a few minutes away from Royal Mile , Turn right your on George street with all the wonderful shops and restaurants.

Our long weekend break at Kimpton Hotel was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Ragda, who was simply amazing and incredibly friendly. Her warm welcome set the perfect tone for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a personal escort to our room, which was absolutely amazing. The loving enthusiasm of the staff truly made our experience memorable. Keep up the fantastic work, Kimpton Hotel! We'll definitely be back.

United KingdomThere is nowhere to lounge in the spa; this is nitpicking, though, as I have nothing else to say in the didn't like section. It would have been great to have a couple of loungers in the spa area to sit on. However, the staff did give us access to the after-treatment room for relaxation when the spa got busy.
The staff were incredible and couldn't have been more helpful! The Hotel was gorgeous, clean and ideally located to be able to walk to the sites of Edinburgh. Breakfast was fab, and all around, one of the best hotels we have stayed in recently. Everyone from the front desk, concierge and spa team were incredibly helpful. the treatment we had was amazing, especially as we were squeezed in over a cancellation! the room was lovely, and there were some really nice touches, like the nice coffee and being able to order fresh milk to the room! I really can't fault this hotel and the staff! the restaurant, which is in the hotel but separate, was also incredible. We did the food and beverage pairing, and it was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had! If you are going to Edinburgh, definitely book this hotel!
