The double bed was actually two singles pushed together with no proper bridging cover, so it was a bit uncomfortable if you fell into the 'gap'.

It was a very good stay esp Simon the staff was very very friendly and helpful esp with the heater. It was really a good stay. Breakfast was nice. Recommended.

The rooms are quite secure, which is a concern because I travel alone. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The bed, and the bedding was very comfortable. The room is well appointed with Wifi, TV, and plenty of space. Having a quiet restaurant and a pub downstairs is really handy for eating breakfast, and having a nightcap at the end of the day. I will stay again when I return the area.

Our room was in the street side so could hear some traffic and noise from the bar downstairs. It didn’t interrupt our sleep at all and things were pretty quiet by 10pm anyway

EXTREMELY kind, friendly family run!! The breakfasts and dinners tasted fresh and home cooked. You could not fine a better location- right in town by shops and bus stop and short walk to train station. My granddaughter and I felt very welcome.

Bathroom tired. Window let in loads of water and we had things sitting on the sill as there was 3 of us. Only given one biscuit for 3 people

I stayed here for a night and ate dinner and breakfast. Small comfortable single room. Good choice on the menu. I had ham, egg and chips followed by some crumble. Delicious. Local Shagweaver beer on tap, also delicious. I had a small cooked breakfast and that was also delicious. Friendly staff and service was excellent.

Didn’t like the rumpus outside our window on the 1st night! This lasted for nearly an hour!!

We were there for only one night and alll good so not much to report here . A dodgy bulb in one of the lamps but nothing serious

The welcome from Simon when we arrived was very good and personable . He made a few jokes and settled us in . A nice bloke . Breakfast was just spot on for me and the ham and eggs ( poached) I would recommend . Shower was also good .

Hot water pressure in the bathroom can be better. But this is understandable for the hotel building is old. Noted that all the hotels along the high street of Moreton-in-Marsh are just as old as they are all built in the same period.

Location is excellent. Bus stop is just opposite the hotel. Bus service No. 801 goes to Swot-on-the Wold and also Bourton-on-the- Water. There is also Bus service No. 2 to Stratford upon Avon. Room is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Hotel restaurant serves excellent food! Its pub is also well equipped and entertaining.

Room very comfortable although some items such as bedside lamps and towel rail a bit wobbly. Staff very friendly and informative about local places to visit. A good choice for breakfast.

Not used to secondary glazing but that's due to age of the beautiful building and necessary as it's on corner of two major roads through the town.

Cooked breakfast and friendly staff both at the bar and owners welcoming first thing in the morning. Plus they serve an early cooked breakfast with beautifully yellow scrambled eggs if you need to be somewhere first thing. Bathroom modern and ok sized. Handy location for the town and competitively priced for area. Parking outside at rear although limited was useful for us and we were fortunate in that respect.

Small room but then we were only there for one night so not an issue. Bathroom very tired but clean and functional.

Lovely place, the staff were wonderful especially Simon who was running the evening service in the restaurant. Food was excellent.

Only niggle was the automatic bathroom light and extractor fan, not good news at 4am.

Good location, clean and comfortable, good breakfast included, good evening meal, friendly staff, easy on road free parking. Good free wifi
