I had a single room, it was small but perfect for what I wanted and a nice big bathroom, clean, comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and bottled water, lovely breakfast, the food in the bar was excellent as were the staff, very reasonable price for the stay, will come again.

The breakfast was lovely first morning, a bit slow replenishing the milk and bread , needed the hot water replacing , they were slow to order my breakfast on the second morning , rushed it because they had forgotten me so wasn't as nice, but new management so forgiven

The hotel is lovely we have stayed here lots of times when visiting my sister, great location , good food for evening meals. The bedroom was nice but needed perhaps a set of draws , it was a twin room but was sufficient

Bed was hard and uncomfortable, At Breakfast had to ask every day for juice and bread as not already refilled when used, when juice was refilled only small amount topped up between guests and had to ask again to be refilled again. Television didn’t work, a really lovely young man came and fixed it and it was remote that didn’t work, wasn’t replaced couldn’t flick through channels.

I thought the food was expensive the breakfast on the Saturday morning was spot on but the Sunday wasn’t so good raw mushrooms a teaspoon of beans in a little pot and bacon was very undercooked. Obviously a different cook on Sunday morning. Didn’t complain as we had to cut our stay short by a day.

No slip mat in bath. Room cold Breakfast was patchy... one day great to next inedible. Bar closed really early on a Saturday night (even though there was a wedding on!

Staff were very welcoming, breakfast was beautiful and the location was superb after a delay ferry. A great last minute booking.

Only thing I can say is I would have like more fruit options for breakfast, chopped up melon, oranges, grapefruit etc.

Great location and very clean. Comfortable and very friendly staff. The hotel is older and a little quirky with some low ceilings which just gives it character.

The bath had not been washed down properly as there was hairs/pubic hairs in the bath.

Staff were amazing and super hellpful. The rooms was lovely and bathroom was a good size and modern.

My only gripe was that Room 8 down the far end of the corridor is next to an exit door, this area seemed to be a hub for the cleaners at 7am having conversations about room cleaning, opening and shaking out plastic bags and to take the laundry in and out of... I spoke to the manager about this on checking out. The shower screen has been removed, leading to a bit of a mess at the edge of the bath, I'd removed the remaining bracket for a better appearance. Breakfast took 30 minutes from ordering to serving, this wait was apologised for by the breakfast staff, along with the fact that there was no milk or fruit juice which was dealt with on my bringing it to their attention.

Plenty of parking. Check in was simple, I asked at the bar and taken through into hotel reception. I had a great room and bathroom. I had an evening meal in the pub downstairs, delicious food ! All the staff were friendly and welcoming both in the evening and the following morning.

the bathroom felt a bit grubby, bath side panel hanging off and dirty behind.
