Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was very comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom had clearly just been renovated and was very nice with plenty of good quality toiletries supplied. Bed was very comfortable and nice touch having complimentary bottles of water and tea/coffee as well as take away cups which I have never seen before in a hotel but is such a good idea! Breakfast was really good. Fantastic choice of options and very good quality. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very friendly staff at breakfast too. In fact all the staff we had contact with during our stay were very friendly and helpful. Definitely makes a difference having smiley, friendly staff! If we visit Nottingham again, I would most definitely stay here again.

No Sport or film channels in the rooms.

I stayed for 2 nights and every morning woke up from 7am with outside road work it was so loud even in my work meetings people could ear it. I reported to reception.
The staff were amazing very nice. The hotel was clean The rooms The gym etc. Room size was great

Location was good, but kind of misleading. It is marketed as the perfect hotel for a stopover on a drive to the north, but in fact, despite being extremely close to the motorway, it is a 15 minutes drive to rejoin the main road, which can be problematic if there is a lot of traffic.
A good hotel with giant free parking and great breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well managed. Staff is polite and well educated on providing the correct level of services.

Our room was located next to the main road and you could hear the traffic. No electric charging points for cars. Brighter lights in the bedroom.

Bed was very soft (sunken in the middle). Limited vegan options at breakfast and they were using single use glasses and cups for cold and hot drinks. The bag for disposal of sanitary items was stuck to the toilet so you couldn’t full push bag the toilet lid!
Reception area was nicely furnished and smelt lovely!

Everything thing was good, i would however scored a bit higher, but i could not get through to your switchboard on returning to my location, as i had asked for a receipt of my room bill for my expenses claim. the person on reception said he couldn't do it at that moment but would email it to me within a couple of hours. i still do not have it, so i rang the hotel and could not get through. so this part of the service i feel is poor.
food, and room was lovely the most comfortable pillows.

As other guests have commented the place could do with a bit of a refurb some of the corners of the rooms where the carpet meets the skirting board where a bit grubby and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The pool changing rooms where a bit worn and grim in places. The pool was very busy with people having spa experiences - I wouldn't recommend this for a spa for large groups as there's just not enough room.
Staff were great especially the staff at breakfast. A very cheerful chap who's name I didn't catch but he was very attentive and they were very good when enquiring about allergies. Breakfast was fantastic, plentiful and lots of plant based milk options which were good for dietary requirements. Our room Wren Suite was welcoming and very spacious with complimentary drinks which was a nice touch. It wasn't noisy at all but I think we were lucky with where our room was located. Pool area was good for the kids to swim although the times are a bit restrictive and it was very busy with lots of people on spa afternoons. We'd come back again if we got a good price.

It’s tired, had a funny smell. The wait for food in the evening was long and the food was expensive for what it was.
I stayed here because of its close location to Wollaton Park. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean. The breakfast staff were wonderfully friendly. Didn’t have time to try the pool or gym sadly.

No children allowed in pool - needs to be explicit they are only allowed at certain times Very noisy - both from other guests and noise on corridors (banging doors etc). For price, I expected better.

We had understood from Booking.com that breakfast would be included in our booking. I even emailed to ask you to confirm if breakfast was included and you assured me that this would be so and at no extra charge. However, the hotel had no knowledge of this and we had to pay extra for our breakfasts!

Doors slammed when shut, walls thin (guy next door on a call may as well have been in the same room). Lots of dust and fluff in the extractor in the bathroom. When checking out around 7:50 a.m., I asked the young lad a question. Very disinterested. Didn't ask how my stay was, etc. I've just been on a customer care course during my stay, and this was poor.
Nice rooms, great shower. Good selection of beverages.

Did not have breakfast as I had arranged to call over to a local house (in-laws) to have breakfast with them. I spent minimal time in the room, as I was out & about each day, so everything was perfect for my stay
