Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The entrance felt a bit like an unfinished place. Then upstairs at the reception, it was dark, with a low ceiling. A bit depressing. On top: a hotel of this size needs more than just 2 slow elevators. I used the unpretentious fire escape stairs. I like that, but I don't think many do.
The location is perfect, my standard double room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is quite good and the staff is generally very friendly and helpful.

Elevator service is close to terrible. Two elevators for the entire hotel, which had hundreds of rooms. Elevators are frequently full, so even though the elevator may stop at your floor, you can’t get on. Then you wait five minutes for the next one, and hope it’s not full.
Staff helpful. Convenient to the Tube and buses.

The lift on our floor was very slow and crowded, so had to take stairs most of the time.
The staff in particular Christina and Neslihas were extremely cooperative and friendly. They allowed us a late check out as well free of charge.

Only 2 lifts working !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whilst we were on the second floor and could walk down the fire escape, the queues/wait for the lift were terrible all the time we stayed there..maybe a warning on your site !!

The wifi on the TV never worked without loading which was annoying. There are only two elevators for 7 8 floors so it took you some time to go up and down which was also annoying.

The elevators are sooooo bad! Only two elevators for a very crowded hotel. Never make it to the breakfast on time because it took us more than 50 minutes to catch an available elevator. For a family with a baby it’s impossible to use the stairs. Should improve this issue

Step in shower no door which meant floor got wet and slippery everytime. Only two elevators working. Executive lounge poor choice of food at breakfast no pork products. Grill restaurant only open for paid breakfast. Overpriced room service.

Long queue for breakfast and to get to your floor as lifts are under maintenance! The hotel management should have warned abt this. The sound proofing between rooms is not adequate as you can hear gusesys talking next door!

Room 545 is a long long way! Also there is renovation going on which I think is making the lift queues pretty long in the morning. You cant easily take the stairs as you need to know how to get to the stairwell from floor 2 to ground. Hopefully will be sorted once the renovation is completed. The building works is noisy however.

Two elevators serving the 7 floors as there was maintenance work, checkout is at 11 and a complementary hour is given subject to availability but you can request paying for additional hours if available. Price slightly on the higher end.
Prime location and very helpful and accomplished staff, Anastasia from the reception was very helpful. The rooms were spacious compared to other hotels and very clean. Mini bar was complimentary and refilled on daily basis.

Only two small elevators for the entire hotel , we had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to get a chance to use it because it is always packed with people. Check out is 11 am and check in is 3 pm !

the lifts took forever and there were quite a few snags in the hotel that need upgrading

TV cut out after 10 mins
The hotel was ok, problem with TV reported several times, engineer arrived at 9:30pm promised to change TV next day. Problem was not resolved when we left.
