We were welcomed by the owner, who was lovely and went above and beyond to make sire our stay was as lovely as possible. The bed was huge and very comfy. The complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch and she booked us in for breakfast at a local pub which was the best breakfast I've had.

Victoria House was one of the best hotels we've stayed in the UK so far and we would definitely be staying there on our next visit to Wales. The room was spacious, bright and airy, with large windows both in the room and in the bathroom. Quiet area - no noisy roads nearby. There are plenty of parking options within walking distance. It was a pleasure to stay there. Thanks, Jan!

Don't really know what to say, other than we couldn't fault the property or the proprietor. Parking was a little awkward as it's on a narrow one way street. Managed a space when we arrived, but returning after visiting an attraction, no spaces were available. Jan's suggested free parking spaces near the harbour which was only a five minute walk from the property. Other than that a pleasant experience which we hope to repeat.

The room was lovely, with four poster bed, with period furniture. Well equipped with microwave and fridge with fresh milk rather the the pots of UHT. Nice touches, such as Portmeirion crockery. Jan was very friendly and helpful, pointing out places to eat and parking if it wasn't possible on the street outside the property.

Jan, the host was amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and equipped with all essentials. It was a lovely surprise to be upgraded on arrival and also to find a bottle of wine waiting for us. Wonderful stay.

We couldn't have been happier with our visit. The host was extremely friendly, the property is located in the centre of the town yet it was easy tofind the parking, the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Great selection of teas and other drinks in the room. Welcome drink included non alcoholic option for us.

From the moment we walked everything was just perfect a lovely host spotless clean accommodation central to caernarfon Town a truly memorable stay.

Even the occasional rain didn't spoil anything. It is Wales after all.

The room was well above my expectations. The facilities offered were second to none. Full welcome tray with milk and a welcome drink in the fridge. Access to the castle walls even. My room had a four poster bed and overlooked the Menai Straits. A great promenade walk into the town which must have been less than 10 minutes away. Jan and her friendly staff made me feel very welcome. :)

I booked at stay at Victoria House as an anniversary surprise for my fiancée. Everything was perfect from the start, Jan answered the door and was immediately welcoming. She showed us to our room and told us about the facilities as well as providing information about the town (it was our first visit). As a host, she was friendly, informative and couldn’t do enough. The room itself was perfect - comfortable and classy - for a truly unique style that doesn’t let you forget that you are staying within castle walls! We stayed in the room with the jet bath and it was so relaxing. Plenty of tea and coffee provided We would definitely recommend a stay and we knew before the end of ours that we would want to come back

We hated to leave, the host was so kind to accommodate a late check out for us, this was really much appreciated and we were so sad to leave!

The place was central, the host , Jan, really knows how to treat guests! We were well looked after, the place was spotless and impeccable! We appreciated the little treats (some local biscuits,candles,milk and water, local beer etc) as not many hosts do these things anymore. Jan arranged the place to be a relaxing retreat. We even had slippers and robes, this was also a plus! Jan is a real host, she does not only rent out a room, but make it an experience and a great memory. This is rare to find, and we have been to many b&b places as we travel often. Thanks Jan!

Absolutely beautiful building, the host went above and beyond making our stay special, bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in (and HUGE!), all the little finishing touches were lovely. Would definately stay here again!

Everything was perfect.

Victoria House was FANTASTIC! This is the second time that my husband and myself have stayed here with our dog Dixie. Jan makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Victoria House is full of charm and home comforts. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning very soon xx
