No lift wouldn't of booked if known in advance shower being over the bath would of preferred a separate shower

lift broke.. room to hot.. down stairs bar closing a 6pm

dinner was great nice choice, breakfast was exceptional, anything you wanted was there from cereal, juice, tea coffe toast to help yoursel full english, couldnt ask for anything more Excellent.. room was nice size, bed was comfy only gripe was room was to hot.. night time Entertainment was Brilliant staff friendly and welcoming.. and free parking will defo be back again...

The bed was slightly too soft for my liking, but that's a minor niggle,and the lift was our of order during our stay. This was inconvenient for the older guests and those with Mobility issues as there are quite a few stairs throughout the hotel.

The Viking is a welcoming and friendly hotel with a reputation for good value for money and excellent dining facilities. The meals are exceptional and the choices are ideal for most people. The rooms are clean and well kept,and even if a smaller room, are perfectly adequate. The added bonus of an in house cabaret/night club, the Talk of the Coast makes it a one stop venue with superb entertainment. The resident compare, Buddy, is brilliant and the choice of acts are as good as you could wish for.

Wouldn’t fault anything , other than the lift being out of order but our room was changed to overcome the problem

Food was really good, the organisation was great, all staff brilliant, friendly and very helpful. Room with sea view was great, the entertainment was great! Carl Schofield was fabulous. My only complaint would be uncomfy pillow 🤣 and you are booked up in November 😭

The lack of lifts to all floors if any at all ,looking at other reviews the lifts haven't been working properly for a while ,considering this hotel is adults only ,it's guests are generally the older generation ,so a lot of stairs to climb is a drawback ,in the plus side a porter will take your luggage for you ,but on departure day we had being our own luggage down .

Breakfast was great ,plenty of choice .dinner really nice again with a choice of four mains .great entertainment,and a chance to book a table .

The reception staff on arrival where ignorant but that was the only time, they were helpful when needed. All though I have a bus pass, the bus routes are mainly on the back roads, so you have to walk or pay on the tram.

The entertainment was excellent, there was a reasonable choice of food at meal times.
