Westcot is located in the centre of Callander with private parking and easy access. The rooms are excellent and spacious with everything provided. The breakfast hamper is just amazing, with a wonderful choice of fruits, compot, pastries, breads and savories, "all home made", that really set you up for the day. Stephany, the host, is extremally welcoming and will provide all the information and advice you need about the local area.

Because of the location of the hotel, the car park is not large with 4 spaces. Anyone with a large car may find it a tight squeeze. It is difficult to find any other fault with our stay.

The Westcot is in a great location in Callendar, at the end of the main street and next to a small supermarket. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and taken to our room, which was clean and comfortable and had everything we required in it. Breakfast was a highlight, we didn't think that so many homemade goodies could be packed into one hamper; and it changed daily!

Strict rules of check in - no later than 19.00, that made me feel a little bit nervous.

Everything was grand. We had a really lovely stay at the Westcot. It’s a very pretty property inside and out. The owners were so friendly. My partner said it was the best breakfast hamper he’d ever had! So many lovely items (vegetarian friendly). The room was bliss. Bed very comfortable and a cute wee chaise sofa to relax and chill on. The attention to detail really shone at this property. We’ll certainly go back!

Our room and bathroom/shower room were spacious and well equipped. We had everything you could wish for and more. The location is perfect for walking in to Callendar which is a lovely place to visit.

Stephanie is a brilliant hostess and made us feel at home. She makes lots of home made treats for breakfast, delivered each morning in a hamper with a lovely handwritten note. The shops and cafes are close by. It's a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

We absolutely loved how peaceful the place was, the gardens and surrounding tranquil, stephanie and simon have made such a 5 star luxury stay with their attention to detail in decor, all items in the rooms, and exceptional home made/ baked items in the incredible breakfast hamper! we loved those homemade touches! thank you! we will be coming back!

We liked every aspect of our stay at the Westcot. We had a very warm welcome from Stephanie who was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Our rooms - lounge, bedroom and bathroom were spotless, very well equipped and quite spacious. The breakfast hampers delivered to our room were amazing - varied each day and with lots of options including some lovely fresh fruit. The Westcot is in an ideal location, close to the centre of Callander. Would heartily recommend.

Honestly, nothing !!!!

Breakfast was amazing, especially the cheese and bacon envelopes. Lots of choice to suit all tastes and appetites. Loved the fact we had a fridge with milk and tap water provided, also a bonus for keeping the fresh fruit provided and our own juice. Lots of extra little treats provided which were very much appreciated. Plenty towels etc and nice bathroom products, the underfloor heating was fantastic and always plenty hot water. Room was spacious, airy and beautifully decorated with a lovely large bed (a little soft for us, but thats a personal preference, not a criticism). Entrance hallway was beautifully decorated with a lovely carpet and lots of nick nacks that made it feel lovely and homely. It also had the most amazing smell as you entered, very inviting. Dining room/lounge was the same standard of decoration and had tables set up for use by residents if having take away etc, very good idea. Location was perfect, straight across from river accessed by steps to some lovely walks through the park. It was close enough to shops to walk to within minutes but far enough to be nice and peaceful at night time. Hosting by Stephanie was perfection.
