Kimberley and Mike are excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating and very helpful with local recommendations and tips. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and bright and the whole property is in beautiful serene grounds. breakfast was excellent and we were lucky with the sunny weather which was a bonus. it would be fantastic staying here in all weathers. Also lovely friendly local pub which serves great food is almost on the doorstep. Thank you Kimberley and Mike for making our short break so special. Fully recommend,, 5 stars plus!!

Nothing, it was a perect stay!

I really like that it felt like a home from home!! Very comfortable, beautiful garden and house. Kimberley really was the perfect hostess, she felt more like a good friend than an hostess! She went out of her way to make my birthday breakfast special, and got in my favouite food! and had great recommendations for things to do in the area!! Thanks for a wonderful weekend's stay!

Kimberley and Mike made us very welcome. Advice on where to visit and how to get there was extremely helpful. The pub in the village was a three minute walk away served excellent food. A great place to stay for a short break.

Kimberley and Mike were both very welcoming and friendly. They could not do any more to help us enjoy our stay with them. They were brilliant. All facilities excellent and spotless. Breakfast very enjoyable.

We cannot find anything at all to criticise. It’s one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in recently. It didn’t bother us but the owners have a very friendly dog and cat so if you have an allergy to pets it’s worth bearing this in mind. Additionally, take plenty of change for car parks as the local ones don’t seem to accept credit cards!

First, the location: in a village up a quiet lane but within ten minutes’ drive of Kingsbridge and with a bus stop nearby on the main road. There’s also a pub within walking distance serving good food. Next, the accommodation which was both comfortable and spacious. The ground floor room with a king bed overlooked the garden and was very peaceful. Next door was an en-suite with a bath and wet area with shower. Everything was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There were tea/coffee making facilities and treats including chocolate biscuits and shortbread. The continental breakfast was a treat too with cereals, bread, croissant and home made jam. Finally, the friendly, informative hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay.

Stayed in the family room with sofa and single beds upstairs and a large double bed downstairs. Excellent facilities inc Large TV, Fridge, Kettle, HairDryer, Iron etc. Room has a nice en-suite with large shower, all set in lovely gardens and parking outside room.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay - Kimberley could have not done enough for us, so helpful with suggestions for day trips and where to park etc. Thanks to her guidance we discovered some beautiful locations we may have otherwise overlooked. Very thoughtful touches in the room to ensure we had everything we needed. Wonderful facilities - and a superb shower! Breakfast was really lovely too. Highly recommend, you won't regret it!

Would have preferred additional fresh towels .

Westwaterhead immediately responded to questions and concerns before our visit and provided us with possible meal venues. Kimberly was an outstanding hostess. She was available to help us with anything we needed including suggestions and advice on places to visit, finding a laundromat, and giving us a bag breakfast the day we had to get to the airport before daylight. Our breakfasts were delicious and we had plenty of choices. She was so friendly and hospitable.

Couldn't fault the breakfast, lots of choice and freshly prepared. Great location with good access to lots of visitor spots. Excellent spacious room as we had the family room. Very accommodating hosts.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like!

The breakfast was absolutely lovely, everything from the cooked breakfast to the fruit salad and porridge was excellent. We stayed in the family room, so it was lovely to have the added bonus of a separate room to watch the TV. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere clean and tidy. Kimberley and Mike were fantastic hosts.

Very nice accomodation in a lovely area. We have enjoyed our stay very much. Our room had a proper homely feel and everything was so peaceful, just perfect break from our busy life in a city. Lovely garden as well. Kim is such a lovely host, she was looking after us really well. Hoping to come back again.

Would definitely stay again but would have liked lock on door. Also, private bathroom was just outside bedroom although there was a privacy screen in the corridor. Was fine but was expecting en suite.

Everything, starting with the hostess Kim who is so welcoming and interesting. Our suite which included an adorable loft was perfect. The garden is GORGEOUS. Breakfast was delicious. Very highly recommended.
