Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBeing really picky... our preference is to have a separate shower from the bath, to avoid stepping over the edge of the bath, but that's all.
Out hosts were very friendly and good fun, with lots to chat about and very knowledgeable about the local area. The Breakfasts were great, cooked to perfection with lots of choice and variety to cater for dietary requirements. The room is traditional in its decoration, with four poster bed, which was very comfortable. The view was great.

United KingdomNothing But would love to return and stay in the room with balcony and views, we just need to make sure we book earlier next time.
Lee and Mherly were excellent hosts and very warm and welcoming. A lovely house full of character with a relaxing garden in a quiet location, which is a good base for getting to most places. Little extras in room was a nice touch including some handmade Welsh cakes on arrival 😋 Superb breakfast with service with a big smile! Off road parking.

United KingdomThere was nothing at all to dislike. We would have loved to have stayed there for longer, and would recommend this anyone visiting Tenby
The friendly reception, the lovely house and decor, being served by Lee with Welsh Cakes and a fantastic breakfast. The location was very good with Tenby being only about one mile away on foot across a golf course.

United KingdomComing home!
If I could give a score of more than 10 for cleanliness, I would! Set in a lovely village, 3 pubs and a restaurant, 30 mins walk into Tenby or bus/taxi ride. A good base to explore. And Lee & Mherly were amazing hosts, breakfast yummy and plenty of it. Best kippers I've had. We felt like we were part of a family, such, lovely personal service. Huge room, with chairs to watch tv comfy mattress on bed and shared balcony looking out over fields/towards the sea. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

United KingdomMy wife and found nothing to dislike. Our room, we booked the Deluxe Double Room, was exactly as described and as shown and detailed in the booking confirmation.
The breakfast prepared by the owners, Lee and Mherly and served by them in the breakfast room was perfect, something for all tastes from a full English to Continental breakfast. We also appreciated the help provided by Lee and Mherly in recommending local beauty spots and restaurants. The room was much more comfortable than most of the pricy hotels we've stayed in. The location, in Penally, is within walking distance of Tenby's North beach and with adequate parking facilities for driving around the area.

United KingdomRoom was very comfortable, not the most modern decor but full of character, as per the whole house - and everything we could have wanted was provided, and more. Fridge (lovely to have a jug of fresh milk inside it, wonderful) and drink making facilities were great, it was so nice to have some snacks and drinks provided. The bathroom could do with a a little maintenance in a couple of places but it was so airy and spacious, all worked well and hot water was plentiful.
A SUPER WARM WELCOME AND DELICIOUS BREAKFAST! Amazing hosts, it seems like nothing is too much trouble. Lee even took it upon himself to book us into a local pub for dinner after our late arrival.

United KingdomI can think of nothing that could be bettered, however - and this is purely personal - I found the social situation of all guests sitting round a single table at breakfast time somewhat difficult - others, of course, probably enjoy this arrangement.
The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation rated among the best we have ever experienced. The food was superb and the flexibility offered during our stay was excellent.
