Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThe road up the hill was a bit scary and tough, but it was worth it
An amazing spot on a high hill in the heart of wild nature, surrounded by mountains. This is a truly unique accommodation, perhaps the most exciting place I have visited in Georgia, which I will certainly not forget. The room itself is beautiful and overlooks the landscape through huge glass windows. The staff is very nice and welcoming.

GeorgiaThere is no possibility to drink hot beverages (tea/coffee) on your own. Other than breakfast or dinner, you have to ask for a hot water, tea or coffee, that is a bit uncomfortable.
The views from the guest house are amazing! The facility itself is comfortable and clean. Hosts are amazing! Very positive and welcoming people.

AustraliaWow! What a place to arrive - after THAT journey to get there! Basic (clean, warm) rooms. Stunning views. Awesome dining / common area. Open fire. Quality food. Friendly hosts. You'll be glad you got there, and glad to be there. [Tip: slow and steady. Beware your tyres. Take spare tyres(s). We got a flat.] How amazing is Georgia!?

GeorgiaThe host treats you like a guest in your house rather than a "customer". You get a glimpse into a Georgian Khevsurian house. The rooms are comfortable and our view to the mountains was amazing. Your hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable 🩷

Very attentive and caring hosts. Tasty food. A top location for a base camp, I advise you to stay here if you plan to explore the area for several days. Beautiful views from the rooms, no roads, no unnecessary noise, no shops, no people, only mountains.

NorwayAmazing location, quite a challenging drive to reach the guest house, but definitely worth it when you get there. Definitely need a 4x4 to make the ride. Really good food, big portions for breakfast and dinner (we didn’t have lunch but i guess it was good as well). Good area for a challenging hike, got a recommendation from one of the hosts on where to walk as there is no marked paths. 10/10 stay

Netherlandseverything was good but better to keep in mind that hot water comes from solar panels and you can have a hot shower in a limited amount of time (always different) and it gets insanely hot in the room right after sunrise because of the glass walls.
the guest house is surrounded by unbelievably beautiful nature, a wonderful place for hiking and exploring the area by car (but you have to have a proper car, the road to the guest house is difficult). kind and welcome hosts!

GeorgiaNot minuses, but things to know: Please keep in mind that there is no heating in any room, so in the chilly season you'll need to have some extra layers on you. Also, it might not be possible to have a morning shower in such seasons because the room is cold and the water is warm, but not hot. There is no cell service at all. The hotel has a wi-fi, which might not be stable, so you might be cut off.
A very friendly host made us feel really special! Amazing views! Never seen so many stars in the sky ❤️ Rooms are small but cosy. The restaurant area has a wonderful fireplace to rest after a long day.

GermanySpectacular, an adventure! This accommodation does not meet the usual evaluation criteria. The property is 18 km behind Shatili. Getting there is a bit of an adventure because you first have to overcome the 2700 m high Bear Pass. From Shatili you continue on what is now a disastrously bad road and it takes almost an hour to get to your destination, passing the magical abandoned Mutso. The last few kilometers were tough, and my not very powerful car, of course an all-wheel drive 4x4, almost didn't make it up the mountain. You will never get there with a normal car. But once you've made it, all your efforts are rewarded: a farm where livestock is farmed all year round, on the border with Chechnya far away from civilisation, with a few attached, very comfortable guest rooms with lots of wood and glass. The view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. I was woken up in the morning by the sun with a view of three very high mountains: on the left the Makhismagali, 3890 m, in the middle the Tebulos, 4492 m and on the right the Komito, 4261 m. The room was relatively small and sparsely furnished , without heating, and the night was extremely cold, which is why I put the blankets from the neighboring bed on top of me. So I was reasonably warm and survived. I was the only guest that night. Dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good, of course almost everything with local products. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat much because the journey had upset my stomach. Since I had eaten so little, the landlady didn't want to accept the full price for accommodation and food. Communication with the farming family worked somewhat well, on the one hand via WhatsApp with a relative living in Tbilisi, and on the other hand with a young woman who spoke English and worked for the family there in the summer. Amazingly good Wi-Fi, but no phone, at the end of the world.

GermanyThe breakfast was extremely tasty and authentic. Every morning, the breakfast was a little bit different to the day before with variations and little suprises. When eating breakfast you can see the sun shining onto the Tebulosmta mountain, which creates an incredible view. The exact same applies to the dinner. Also beer and wine is very tasty too. Almost everything served for breakfast and dinner is a product of the farm, that the guest house is part of. Whether its milk, cheese or meat, it comes directly from the farm. The surrounding area is full of interesting and extremely beautiful places to explore. For instance the Ardoti Waterfall and of course all the surrounding mountains and valleys. And the most important: The hosts are one of the nicest people we met and are very helpful and happy to answer questions.
