Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaUnfortunately we had NO WATER for my 8 days out of 10!! Not their fault obviously … but updates were sparse and not encouraging . My compensation of 103 euros was about 3.4 % of my total room cost. There was hardly any entertainment and the only restaurant open was the buffet for dinners . Second restaurant closed because of the water problem.
The environment, the friendly staff, the room location ( overlooking the sunset ) in a magnificent garden.

GermanyRoom could have been cleaner. Rooms are ageing. They are due for renovation.
The food was excellent. This true for the included breakfast as well as for the purchased food and drinks. Prices for food and drinks were reasonable given the location. Beach and pool were wonderful.

United States of AmericaThe room had mosquitos, but we were provided with a spray. We ate at the onsite restaurant and had the most extensively dishes- shrimp scampi, we asked for melted butter and were told no. The scampi were actually small lobsters
Breakfast buffet was fine. The room was quite, and had a nice view.

BelgiumArea around the hotel is not great and only really accessible by car and the parking is often full. Room had no facilities for tea or coffee or for reheating a baby's bottle.
Great hotel located right on the beach with a large swimming pool.

If I was to find any fault ut would be the need to update the bathroom but otherwise I couldn't fault the place. A lovely stay that I'd recommend and definitely be back

SwitzerlandThe whole facility is nice but not overwhelmingly so to justify the rather high price. The area outside the hotel is a rather dull parking next to the Casino which is not exactly the best corner of Guadeloupe.
Nice hotel, close to the airport but still enough outside the city to have a nice clean beach nearby. Breakfast started at 6:00 which allowed use to profit from the jet lag. Nice common areas. Nice sea view from the selected room. Private hotel beach small but nice. Large enough facility to not be too crowded despite being fully booked.

Polandloved the animal friendly approach. There were many cats, kittens and chickens on the restaurant floor. it’s super cute, but you have to remember that chicken use the toilet when they feel like it - sometimes it means on the restaurant floor. It is not really what you want to see smell and step on during your breakfast.
Beautiful beach, very comfortable beach chairs. Staff is friendly and helpful. Oh, and the most delicious breakfasts!

FranceThe water was never hot for shower, buffets were excellent but a bit boring after a while. It’s supposed to be the Creole Beach and Spa but there wasn’t a booking available in the Spa for the entire week of our holiday which was a real let down.
Friendly staff, lovely beach and garden, big room and a great premium restaurant.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was plentiful but didn’t have a variety of options from day to day. Room was a bit dated.
Staff at the pool bar were so friendly and quick. Food was tasty and ready quickly. Walkable area with plenty of quick dining options and market across the street. The water sports booth was a hit with my children.

United States of AmericaThe room and areas like the pool needed more upkeep - worn edges, water damage, mold, dust, etc. Parking the first night - it was really busy and frustrating although we finally found a spot in an odd place. The area around this hotel is very developed.
The breakfast buffet was amazing, exceeded expectations. The beach, the view, the property were lovely. Also, we enjoy our patio - very nice to sit and relax with a view of the ocean. We liked the resort cats and chickens too : ) Also, it was easy to get to nice spots like Plage de la Datcha and Sainte Anne in our rented car.

United States of AmericaThe phone in the room didn't always work well (we often had to just go down to the front desk to speak with them because the connection over the phone was very weak); no room service menu (and the cost of room service was the same as going to the full buffet: 40 Euros). Be mindful that when the folks at the front call a taxi for you, the taxi will start their meter from the time they get the call - generally adding another 10 to 15 Euros to the price - so you're better off finding a flat rate airport transfer in advance, or getting the contact information of a local taxi driver who won't do that.
The resort conveniently had everything we needed: nice pool, sunny beach, several restaurants, and a spa on site. They also had a very helpful and honest concierge service, which helped us determine where to get the best rates on car rentals (hint: it's at the airport, even though you need to take a cab there). Location was wonderful, staff were attentive, public areas were constantly cleaned. We were really able to relax because of these things.

United States of AmericaThis may not be the best destination for American travelers. Very few folks in Guadeloupe speak English. Our room was comfortable and clean. Great pool and beach area, but both nights of our stay a rooster crowed incessantly outside our window and on one of the nights two cats fought for over an hour. After the first sleepless night, the hotel had a party on the beach outside our room and the band kept us awake until the rooster could take over. This may sound like the angry American tourist, and I don’t mean it to be that way, but our questions and issues could not be addressed because I don’t speak French and almost no one speaks anything but broken English.
The breakfast was terrific.
