Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMore hanging space and a set of drawers would be useful but good shelf space. Maybe a microwave?
The location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Spectacular sea and coast views from the pool. The cottages are very comfortable, the terrace is very sunny. You do need a car the closest village is about a 20 minute walk. We loved Jerusalem beach sun beds to hire and a good taverna. A pebble beach so invest in a pair of pebble shoes before you go, plenty to buy in Maganos. Fiskardo is just 10 minutes in the car.

United KingdomNothing !!! It was excellent!!!
Konstantinos is an excellent host. We stated at the smallest of the houses but it was the best one with begonvilles on the front garden 😍. Clean as a 5* hotel. Eat at Ranzo, the other facility that belongs to the same family, excellent food.

United KingdomNothing - it was a lovely break, great property and we'd definitely stay again.
Gorgeous property in a good spot with views out to sea. Lovely pool in a nice quiet area. It was easy to sightsee and visit all the local beaches, plus Fiskardo was only 10 or so minutes away by car. Konstantinos was lovely and great to deal with - and his recommendation of a family-run restaurant down the road was excellent! There was also a really well stocked 'welcome basket' on arrival which was so helpful. Empliski beach is nearby too and with easy parking, it was a favourite spot for our beach days.

South AfricaBed slightly too soft.
Quiet setting and genereal look and feel of buildings and accommodation was good. Location not on beach, but many beaches, restaurants and supermarkets easily accessible by car on both sides of island in 10 minutes.

SloveniaThe best possible accommodation in traditional village. You need a car, but if you have it, take this accommodation and you will not regret.

LithuaniaThe location of the property is perfect. The views to the sea and mountains from the cottages and specially from the pool area is amazing. The owner Konstantinos is very helpful. Very close to the property in Alaties beach there is superb restaurant Alati. We have been travelling in Greece islands a lot, but this place was one of the best. For sure we will return here again to stay for longer period.

NetherlandsThe view is spectacular and the host is indeed friendly, but for the price, all the rest was not up to par. Just being friendly isn't enough if you're asking hotel prices. We were arriving later and sent a message, but only received a respons after our arrival so we went in ourselves. The wifi was not working throughout our whole stay (4 days). The nights were becoming colder in October, but there was no blanket. The host gave us an extra sheet for the first night and promised a blanket the next day which was only presented after we asked again. However, the blanket smelled like mould so we could not use it. There was a strong sewer smell from the bathroom, coming into the room through the big gap under the door making it very smelly inside the room. The pool water was green throughout the full stay, the PH value was not right. Everything from the neighbours in the adjecent rooms could be heard. There are no covering curtains, so you'll wake up when the sun comes up. We had to ask to change towels and when they brought it into the room, the beach towels (wet and on the floor next to the door) were not replaced and just left there. We had to ask for a new mosquito powerplug repellant since the ones in the room were unusable. Everything needed had to be asked for. It might seem that we are very high maintenance which is not the case. But some basic form of service and wishing for working wifi, clean towels, a blanket and a clean pool should not be too much to ask. Big disappointment.

GermanyA sponge and scissors sould be added to the equipment of the kitchen and the shower partition could be improved in a way that the toilet doesn‘t get‘s wet while having a shower. But for us these were only minor details.
Huge thank you to our host Konstantinos and his familiy for our wonderful time at the Rigani apartment! We liked the most the stunning view (especially for sunset!) from our terrace and the pool area over the sea, the remote and absolutely quiet location which is perfect for trips to the beautiful beaches of the north side of the island (car recommended!) and the kindness and appreciation of Konstantinos and the whole staff (also at their restaurant Ranzo Ioni nearby). We can absolutely recommend Aloni Stone Cottages and would like to come again another time!
