Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaIt would be lovely if the breakfast were lighter, with more fruits and vegetables. And also into the lobby more materials for the stranding area, more books with greek culture. I know these are small things, but they make a difference for some people. I was in the same situation with a big group of more than 120 people, finding information difficult.
First of all, I like the architecture and design of the hotel; he has something special, combining the best aspects of the 70s interior design, all the concrete elements. I love the lobby with the stylish fireplace; It's a perfect place to work and read. The view from the terrace is impressive. It is an excellent place if you travel by motorbike; it is safe, and you can leave everything on it.

GermanyI rarely write reviews and only when I think something is particularly good or particularly bad. Having lived in Greece for 25 years, I am sorry to say that the evening buffet is a disaster and the breakfast buffet a disappointment. The quality of the ingredients at the evening buffet, even if hygienically safe, is otherworldly. However, a good chef can prepare tasty dishes with average quality ingredients. No trained chef could have been present during the preparation of the dishes. With the exception of one edible leaf salad, everything else was poorly prepared or failed to disguise the poor quality of the ingredients. The seasoning was poor or non-existent, and the result is a disgrace to Greek cuisine for international guests. My standards are really not that high, because in a four-star hotel in Greece, huge differences in the food are to be expected. Perhaps it was just a slip, but I have never had a worse evening buffet in my 25 years in Greece. I tried all the dishes to see if I could find something that would make me turn a blind eye, or both. My children and I thought at one point someone would come up to the table and tell us we were on Candid Camera.
I love the minimal design of the 60ies, the material combinations and the flair of the Hotel, especially of the lobby. The view is great. The staff is friendly and willing to assist.

Loved this hotel! The surrounding gardens are so lush and the setting is perfect. It’s an oldish hotel, mid-century style, but it’s very well kept! would have loved to stay longer.

AustraliaWhen calling or through Booking, no connecting or family rooms available (I don't believe they offer these), but we at least got 2 rooms next to each other for my family instead.
Stayed here for 1 night in August 2023 with my wife and 3 sones 12, 10 and 5. Check-in was easy, parking available right out front. Huge hotel with plenty of amenity, clean and lovely staff. Great pool and poolside bar and food. Easy walk into town. Nice views. Rooms are spacious. My in-laws were supposed to stay for 1 night also which was pre-paid, but they got sick and couldn't make the trip. Hotel & Booking refunded us what was already paid in advance.

AustriaThe staff was extraordinary friendly. From reception over restaurant to cleaning staff everybody was nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes (walk) from the archeological site. The dinner in the restaurant was of high quality (17 EUR each). Rich breakfast buffet with everything you need. The hotel is in the style of the sixties (we loved that). Everything was clean. The pool is uncommonly big (and deep - up to 2,75 m) for a hotel.
