We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

NetherlandsThe facilities weren’t what we would expect from a 5 star hotel. The edges of the private pool weren’t really clean and the shower head was old and dirty. The tunnels to the rooms also carry sound so if you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this hotel as it is quite noisy.
The service and staff was really wonderful. They we’re friendly and always ready to help. They also had some great suggestions for restaurants.
