Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAt first, some areas looked a big rough around the edges (not looking 5 star as other people has mentioned) for example: the bathrooms could do with a good clean around the edges at the end if season. The shower in the boys' room was a bit temperamental. Some of the plug sockets were a bit loose in the wall. However, for us, all the benefits of the hotel definitely out weighed this and we hope to stay again!
The location and room with a Seaview was excellent. We love traditional Greek food and were pleased that this was served everyday. The beds were very comfortable. Particular staff were very helpful, especially in the resteraunts. One of our party is coeliac and needed gluten free food. This was catered for at an excellent level by the hotel with all food labelled that was gluten free and staff would also happily check with the kitchen. We couldn't fault them with their support with that and our coeliac child had never had so much choice. They also run a free shuttle bus during the day to Skaka. If you like wild swimming, there a lots of hidden bays within 5 km including one at the bottom of the hotel grounds. For us, the location was excellent - we like to be out of the town in a quiet location, we can use bus, taxi or walk to near by beaches. .

LuxembourgThe facilities are old and need maintenance. The cleaning was not very good and an incident happened; the room staff opened the door of our room (knocked however I didn’t say come in) at 9:30 in the morning to ask when we will check out so they could clean the room. Thankfully I was only half naked. Breakfast was very big but not so quality
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The view of the hotel was lovely. Variety of things to do in the hotel as well as it was close to many beaches / beach bars at Skala. Sea was great and very good and helpful at the reception.

United KingdomThe location might not suit some people, as there's nothing outside the hotel - so you need to go into Skala which is about a 40 min walk (not great in the heat!) or a taxi/shuttle bus ride. I think the shuttle bus could run later, as it finished at 5.30. Not much to do in the evening at the hotel - just music some evenings, so again, not ideal if you want a lively evening - you do need to go into town for this. The only other thing is there are a lot of steps. We knew this and accepted it (hoping they might counter balance the food and cocktails!) but it wouldn't be ideal for anyone with mobility issues, although there is a lift in the main building, and golf carts to take luggage etc to the rooms not connected to the main building. It wasn't a problem for us - but not the hotel for you unless you don't mind a few hundred steps a day, as the restaurant, pool area, rooms and receptions are all on different levels.
We had a pool suite which was amazing - and the pool much bigger than we expected, and a huge bathroom. Definitely recommend upgrading if you can - as it had stunning views over the cliff, out to sea with brilliant view of the sunrise. We used a courtesy room on the last day near reception - and this was a good size too. Food was varied and we enjoyed every meal, it is buffet style, or you can pay to go into the A La Carte restaurant. We were half board, but we swapped dinner for lunch one day as we were going out in the evening, and the lunch was just as nice. Staff were friendly, and service good on the whole. Great main swimming pool, and pool bar/restaurant, with lots of sunbeds, table tennis table and darts. Option to swim in the sea off the rocks - which was beautifully clear and refreshing. Shuttle bus into Skala town and Poros, although it stops at 5.30, so if going out in the evening you need to get a taxi (8 euros). A reasonable gym (although it didn't open until 10, and a lovely spa area (although we didn't have treatments) but inside pool looked great, and there were saunas and steam rooms if you fancied a break from the sun. Overall a great hotel!

United KingdomWe can’t do much about it but it’s a shame there’s not an actual beach in walking distance, the cocktails aren’t that good and are a bit ‘outdated’ but honestly we had a great time overall and the hotel is very nice
Beautiful view from the hotel, the staff were really friendly and it was good snorkelling from the platform. There’s the free shuttle, a variety of pools and even a mini supermarket in the hotel. The room was huge and it was good you could swap either dinner or lunch if you went half board

United Kingdomhillside location meant lots of steps. gym was not fantastic. pool towels were rarely available and had to be collected from reception - 6 floors above pool. Food at breakfast and and evening meal was OK but not as good as most hotels where we have had half board. eg orange juice was weak squash, pineapple was from a can
View was good, pool was good, Sea was lovely. Staff at pool bar and restaurant were lovely. Tennis courts good.

United KingdomThe cocktails were terrible. We tried the pool bar and the actual bar upstairs and we didn't finish either (40 euros for four drinks). Can't find much to complain about for the price. We were very pleasantly surprised.
OMG the view from our room (bungalow 31) was wonderful, looking out over the ocean with some leafy glimpses of the large pool. The pool was that great mix of wonderful for swimming (yet not a dull rectangle) and plenty of beds for everyone, plus poolside bar (sun and shade) AND separate snack bar (in shade). We went half board and were impressed, given the budget price, by the quality of the food. And the staff in the restaurants and throughout the hotel were all great, polite, good humoured, helpful, allowed you to sit where you wanted. Despite being a large site, we were luckly to be able to walk on one level to the dining room. The checking in was very smooth with a guy and a golf buggy ferrying us to our room with our cases aboard. Great service.

GreeceThe main room window was broken. We could not lock the balcony room from the inside and we used another locking mechanism existing on the door. I didnt like the fact that in a 5 start hotel the pool towels and safe are being charged. Breakfast was really poor for a 5 star establishment. I would be happy if it was a 3 star. In general the whole feeling of the hotel is of a low level, old 4 star hotel. The main hotel parking had no shadow and no asphalt.
I liked the room in general. It was a semi renovated room with nice sea and pool view. Also it had parking right outside which is a plus. I liked the fact that all personell was very polite and quick. Nice room air conditioning. Good room service.

United KingdomThe main downside with the hotel is its location and the fact that it is near impossible to get a taxi. 60-90 minute waits was common. When you could eventually get one it was only €7 into town. The only alternative a painful 45 min walk with no paths or halfway houses. There is a free shuttle bus that the hotel put on a few times a day but that broke down and therefore wasn't running for most of our stay.
The hotel itself is nice and has good facilities (massive pool) and great views. The staff are polite and helpful. The food drinks varied a lot in quality and price between the different bars but was generally okay. For context we were half board, ate lunch of our first day but then didn't go again. Instead favoured paying for food by the pool bar (much better).

United KingdomBeds were very hard and uncomfortable for what we like and meant a good nights sleep wasn't always possible. Hotel isn't within Skala itself and is a 6 Euro taxi ride away which isn't a problem but wasn't fully aware of this before travelling.
We had a room upgrade upon arrival to a sea view which was fantastic and decided to upgrade to all inclusive for our stay. The food and drink quality and choices were great throughout and it was a good decision we made.
