Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room only had the one mirror which was in the bathroom which was a bit annoying when trying to get ready for the evening . Plenty of space in the room to put another mirror .
Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful with giving knowledge and recommendations in the area. Stunning views of the caldera and great breakfast service picking what you want to eat the night before and where you want to it. Lovely pool area . Very relaxing atmosphere as well.

United KingdomNothing. See above.. We adored the place, views, room service, facilities, location, price, everything.
The place was fabulous. The food and service was fabulous and the view was just to die for. There was a serenity to the place, that was just adorable. We loved every minute of our stay there. Nothing was awkward or hard work, the staff were impeccable and went above and beyond with every and any request we made. Lucas & Kaliopi were just incredible hosts. Cannot recommend this place high enough. We shall be returning.

AustraliaStruggling to find anything negative. Only the path up to the village is a bit rocky but that is not the hotel’s fault.
Fantastic view of the Caldera for sunset. Not crowded at all and peaceful. Close enough to walk to restaurants. Staff were great. Lukas was charming and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious as was the whole property. Nice pool and plenty of day beds and lounges. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

IsraelThe way to Immerovigli is a bit tough at night, but just turn on your phone torch and you will be fine ;)
The staff was so nice and helpful, they did everything they could to make our vacation a perfect experience, each and every one of them. The location is terrific with a gorgeous view of the Caldera and beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh and tasty. The hotel itself is super clean and quiet, rooms are luxurious, spacious and beautiful with wonderful views and breeze. It was truly a unique experience for us from every single aspect, we couldn't imagine our vacation in Santorini in a better place.

I have searched through many booking websites, read numerous reviews in detail before choosing Caldera’s Memories as our 5-day holiday home in Santorini. I am super happy with my choice! Location wise it’s what we have been hoping for - away from the crowds in Fira and Oia, with sunset at our doorstep. Our Honeymoon Suite was spacious with a loft where our bed was. From our balcony we could see the spectacular sunset and from the side window of our loft we could see the amazing sunrise! Imagine a room which offers both sunrise and sunset!! The staff were superbly hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and generous. We were given a sheet of items to choose from the day before and the food was always served hot to our table. I strongly recommend travelers to try the catamaran sunset cruise trip and to rent a car, both can be done with the help of the most efficient staff of Caldera’s Memories. While walking to Fira and going back by bus was totally doable, it was much easier to travel to other places of Santorini in a car. There’s no private hot tub or pool in your own room in Caldera’s Memories, but they do have a beautiful pool and a hot tub in the windmill which you can book for 50euro per hour. There are a lot of hotels with so-called private hot tubs in your room in Santorini. If you see them in person you’ll realize many are right beside public pathways where you find people virtually standing in front of your tub watching you. The more I see the more I appreciate the beauty of Caldera’s Memories.

United KingdomThe view matched all expectations and the staff were superb. They were friendly and accommodating, answering the many questions we had about the area and their recommendations. The location was great, situated in between Fira and Oia, close enough to everything but private and away from the crowds. Turn left and follow the path towards Imerovigli (highly recommend the restaurant Anogi) and further to Fira and turn right to do the beautiful hike to Oia. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and couldn’t get enough of the view, sitting out on the balcony and on a windier day eating our breakfast from there.

PolandThe hotel was fantastic overall, but we noticed a minor issue with low water pressure when taking a shower. It's the only thing that could be improved.
Our stay at the boutique hotel was fantastic. The hotel's small size provided a relaxing atmosphere, and it was spotlessly clean. Additionally, the location was ideal for island trips, and it only took a few minutes to walk to the center of Immerolvigli. As individuals who prefer quiet locations, the hotel was perfect for us. We rented a car, and the hotel had a great parking lot. The level of service was exceptional, with all the staff focused on providing quality service that made our stay extremely comfortable. We are grateful to Lucas, Jorge, and the rest of the staff for their restaurants recommendations and for the unforgettable jacuzzi experience during the sunset (which we highly recommend!). The Caldera view was breathtaking, and it was visible from every room. Moreover, the breakfast was incredible. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night, the hotel kindly sent us a breakfast menu, which was ready when we woke up. The menu offered various options, from continental to sweet breakfast, fruit and Greek salad, fresh juice, and a variety of tea and coffee. The possibility of having breakfast with a Caldera view was a significant benefit, providing an excellent start to the day. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful and luxurious stay with exceptional service, breathtaking views, and delicious breakfast.

United KingdomI had a bad reaction to the chlorine in the pool and hot tub. My husband was ok so this might have only been me though never happened before. it was quite windy and the windows couldn’t be secured when opened so to avoid the banging we had to sleep with closed windows, luckily there was air con in the rooms.

El SalvadorI wish there would have been more restaurants close to the hotel.
We fell in love with the view! It's beautiful and it's like having the perfect private spot to watch sunset every single day. We also LOVED the breakfast, you get to choose what you want from a very variate menu and every day was delicious and delivered by the most friendly and smiley person! The Caldera Memories staff was the best, very friendly, helpful, always with the best attitude and energy. The room and the entire hotel was very nice, the jacuzzi inside the windmill an amazing spot. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant inside, but there is a walking distance restaurant, delivery option from another one and you can have a quick hike to get to Imerogivli town and find several restaurants. We definitely would stay here again and fully recommend it!

SerbiaWords can't describe how wonderful our stay was. We stayed at dozen of hotels, but this was on the top of list of best experience ever. The entire team communicated with us in a polite and respectful manner. They were extremely accommodating; you could just tell that they were happy to help, and their priority was to make sure everyone was comfortable. Our room was always clean, the breakfast was delicious (we really liked the breakfast concept of choosing what we want the day before), and overall we loved how moderate this hotel was. Oh, and the views - simply put - breathtaking. There is one person that stands up - JURI. I hope I spelled his name right :D Juri provides out of this world customer service. He's always there to make sure you have everything you need with a big smile on his face. The service was exceptional and we definitely will return in the future. THANK YOU ALL!

CanadaThat I had to leave to go home. There was nothing not to like about Caldera's Memories Hotel. It was fantastic! This is truly one place I have stayed were I never turned to my wife to say "you know, they should do........". We just totally enjoyed our stay here.
What an amazing place this was. I cannot say enough about the staff, the rooms or the view. We felt like we had rockstar service and attention here and the view was stunning. There really are no words for the sunsets here. The place is perfectly positioned on the island along the main road to Oia. You can walk into Imerovigli and into Fira a bit further. It’s also right on the famous hiking path that goes from Fira to Oia which you can just hope on and go one way or the other. We did the hike to Oia and it was amazing. The pool was the perfect temperature and the pool loungers were comfortable, clean and maintained. The hotel only has about 8 rooms and it makes the place feel private and exclusive. The rooms were super clean and well maintained. We had the honeymoon suite which has a loft area where the bed is located. It was quite and the bed was comfortable and always made up and ready. The bathroom was large and clean. Water pressure was very good and the shower was pleasant. THE STAFF!!! OMG. The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast brought to our room every morning and ate on the balcony overlooking the pool area. They made sure we had everything we needed and we’re always smiling and polite. Top notch breakfast choices, by the way. You will always find something you like. We also had use of the hot tub in the windmill for 1 hour and we chose to watch one of the famous sunsets from there. An experience we will never forget. Speaking of sunsets. You don’t need to stand in the crowds of Oia to watch the sunset. Just stay here and you’ll get the best views of the sunsets you can ever imagine. Without the crowds!! These guys are making dreams here. Please stay with them. You won’t regret it. I promise. Ps. Be sure to try Taverna Tasos for dinner which is within 3 mins walking from Caldera’s Memories. Great little family run taverna with fantastic traditional Greek food. You’ll feel like part of the family!!
