Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

This is a lovely property in a lovely spot and the host was wonderful - fresh home made 'surprises' every day, made it a very homely experience.

Everything was perfect
We really enjoyed our stay in Sifnos. Moscha is a wonderful host and made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. The location is beautiful, the apartment is very nice and well equipped. There are many nice restaurants at a walking distance as well as hikes.

The driveway was challenging first time up, but the views from the top more than made up for the initial tricky access.
A fabulous apartment, with even better service. Moscha was lovely and provided wonderful breakfast treats for us & arranged taxis and provided useful local advice on restaurants and sightseeing. Well equipped apartments in a central location.

An absolute dream. Moscha’s hospitality, kindness and generosity is unmatched. She offers pearls of island secrets of the best restaurants and places to visit. The apartment is exactly what you need plus so much more. The view is absolutely stunning and the rooms are so comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. I will be travelling back to Sifnos to stay here again. What a beautiful experience!! Thank you Moscha 🤩🩷😇

Moscha who owns the property is a treasure, each day she leaves a little gift of cake, pastry or a drink. She is a wonderful host and the property itself in its elevated position looking over the Aegean is fantastic

Nothing - the apartment is great, good value for money and Moscha is a fantastic host.
The apartment is very well located between Apollonia and Artemonas, both of which are easily reachable on foot. At the same time, it is peaceful and overlooks the sea from the beautiful terrace. The apartment was very clean, fully equipped and comfortable. Moscha has been a fantastic host, welcoming me at the apartment despite a last minute booking and regularly checking in with me whether I needed anything, bringing me homemade local food on a daily basis and providing me tips with what to do on the island. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Sifnos.

Super clean, very spacious, excellent view, very close to the centre of town but very private and quiet too! It was an amazing stay from the moment we arrived. The host greeted us and even left sweets and local bites each day for us when the room was cleaned it was such a beautiful touch. We loved it and would highly reccomended to anyone else.

Great host, great location, great property - nothing to complain about! The property is spacious, very well equipped, super clean, and the view is to die for! The host is very attentive to details and the comfort of the guests. The location is also superb with a walking distance to two dining and shopping hubs, and bus station. Highly recommended

Nothing to dislike apart from maybe the hill up to it in the hot weather
The communication with Moscha was exceptional. Moscha organised our transport from the port and was there to welcome us on arrival with fresh lemonade. The apartment felt very homely and loved and was very tidy and clean. Moscha gave us plenty of inside info about the two local towns which was very helpful. Excellent transport links with a path from the apartment leading to both towns so no need to go down the main road.

The location is excellent, a short distance walk either to Apollonia center or up to Artemounas beautiful village. the view from the room is wonderful. the facilities are very good, Wifi is good, everything works like it should be. Muscha is so nice and welcoming, everyday when we came back to the room a very nice surprise was waiting for us, like jams, ouzo or wonderful home made dessert or cake. I have been to many greek islands. and the stay in Muscha's place was my best vacation.

Everything was just perfect. The apartment has everything you need to prepare all meals if you want to do so. And Moscha is a wonderful host, always ready to help and to provide good advice on what to do in Sifnos. And her "gifts" were delicious! The location is excellent, with a great view from the balcony of the room.

Everything worked well so I have no complaints; main room was a bit small but overall apartment, terrace and common spaces were ample and comfortable.
the property is located in a lovely spot overlooking Apolonia and the sea. Moscha, the owner is a fantastic host and has guests needs and comfort as a priority. she is warm and kind and is permanently available and responsive to guests request.

Nothing. It was perfect!
The host Moscha is absolutely lovely! Welcoming and providing lots of extras e.g. bread, jam etc for mornings, home made cakes and puddings! The apartment was beautiful with lots of lovely in keeping furniture and an amazingly comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen. It was like staying in a home from home. Plenty of self catering facilities although we ate out most of the time. The communal terrace was perfect with super with views overlooking the sea and hills beyond. It had comfortable seating and a hammock. The terrace was below the church so had a great view of the church's blue dome.

The second bedroom with two separate beds is in the basement, so it’s dark with a only small window.
Perfect location in the quiet part of Apollonia. Very comfortable and super clean apartment with a terrace with a beautiful view. Fully equipped kitchen. And Moscha’s delicious cakes!

there is a steep drive in to get to the property
Close to Appolonia center, with beautiful views from the terrace. Clean and the hostess was very friendly, who brought us fresh cake everyday
