Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The owner of this accommodation really stood out. Not only were the rooms clean, well equipped (cutlery, bowls, kettle, fridge) and air conditioned but the host was so lovely and welcoming - even sitting us down with refreshments and giving us a 10 minute run down of the best things to do on the island and supplying us with a suggested itinerary based on the amount of time we were spending on Paros. She was always around if you needed anything and seemed genuinely interested and invested in her guests' days and if they were having a pleasant stay. Couldn't have asked for better - really lovely place

The shower facilities could do with modernisation.
We loved how friendly the host was, she helped us greatly, gave us recommendations for everything to do on the island, gave us a snak on the check in and gave us a birthday cake for my boyfriends birthday!!!

Arsenia was an amazing host. She welcomed us and shared a lot of useful tips to enjoy the best of Paros. The room was really clean and the Wi-Fi was very good. The pension was a short walk to the centre in a quiet area, perfect location if you want to stay close but still relax. We had an incredible experience and would definitely come back.

Very beautiful stay in Parika, walking distance from the port and close by to the beach and many restaurants. Our host was LOVELY. She greeted us warmly with cherry juice and home made traditional baked goodies. Gave us various travel tips and locations to see on a map. She was very helpful with suggestions and allowed us to keep our baggage in the property whilst we had checked out.

Nothing to dislike.
We had a wonderful stay at Pension Chanioti! Arsenia is very warm, friendly and helpful with tips and information on Paros. We were spoiled with figs from her garden and delicious tartlets on arrival. The pension is well positioned in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Parikia. Our room was exceptionally clean and beds were very comfortable too.

Pension Chanioti is a lovely place. Mrs. Arsenia was very helpful to guide us in Paros and greet us with delicious fruits. Thanks for everything and hopefully we'll come back to Pension Chanioti again.

Had a really great time here in Parikia ! Chanioti pension was great, near the activities of the island but still in a quiet neighborhood. We were nicely greeted by Arsenia who’d prepared us some local sweets and gave us precious advice for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend Chanioti pension !

When messaging owner she was very blunt over text so found it quite difficult to communicate with her, the bathroom shower wasn’t attached to the wall so it was hard to shower, Wi-Fi also wasn’t the greatest. The property was also a long 15minute walk to the main town centre
The owner was super lovely, helped me and my partner to my room. She welcomed us with a beverage and a cake. She went through on a map with us on what we definitely should do and how we could get around. She gave us heaps of recommendations for restaurants aswell. They replaced our towels daily and cleaned our rooms

The host (Arsenia) was very welcoming and has great knowledge of the Island. Willing to share her knowledge of the best spots to visit during your stay. Rooms were super clean and tidy and cleaned daily. Good fridge and AC worked great. The front garden area is gorgeous and great if you're looking for some shade.

Only thing is that the shower didn’t have anywhere to hang so you had to hold it and the actual shower area was quite prone to flooding so you just have to be a bit cautious, other than that the place was perfect !!
Great location - very short walk to the beach and not far from the port. Very cosy and comfortable place with a very welcoming host who told us the best areas of Paros and gave us endless recommendations!! Room was very clean ( cleaned daily by the host) and we had some really good facilities as well as a spacious balcony - would definitely come again!

Only, if you are taller than 1.75 you might have trouble fitting into the bed.
Beautiful property, simple rooms but everything you need was there, fridge, kettle, hairdryer. Very nice and quiet balcony surrounded by lemon trees. The hostess Arsenia was wonderful, hospitable and very helpful in all matters. The guesthouse is quietly located between the harbor/city center and the beach. I recommend it without complaint.

A beautiful place rather close to the centre of Parikia, includes AC and daily cleaning services. Arsenia is very kind, helpful and gives awesome tips, so definitely listen to those. 10/10 recommended
