Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaBathroom was small with shower curtain partition but adequate for basic needs. Room could have been cleaned better as there was hair and dust balls on the floor. Noise from construction site next door started early in the morning.
The hotel is right in the thick of things. Short walk from Monastiraki station where all tourist amenities are. Reception was friendly and available for our late arrival. Triple room was tight on space but adequate and had a small balcony with view of the Acropolis. Shower had plentiful hot water. Appreciated access to shared kitchen with kettle and seated eating area right next to our room.

GreeceThe room we stayed in had a faulty system on it's only window and it would not close. Bathroom was tiny and the room overall looked a bit outdated.
The location is worth it 100%. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Value for money, would visit again.

IndiaRoom was very small. Single bed was small to accommodate an adult. Bathroom was small. Room was on the 3rd floor. There was no elevator. You have to carry your luggage up many flights of stairs.
Location was very good, few hundred meters from the Monastiriki station. So, one can easily go to any of the place be the port or airport. Most of the attractions are in walking distance. The night staff was very helpful. We have reached hotel in the early morning, he helped us to freshen up and put our luggage in the room.

TurkeyThe wifi connection was awful. It took 10-15 seconds loading any web page. There were no slippers in the room, but it was a kinda price/performance hotel which was valuable thanks to its location, so it was acceptable.
The location was great; you can get everywhere by foot from the hotel. The streets in front of the hotel were very lively, full of restaurants and bakeries etc. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind.

TaiwanSo many stairs to get to the top floor where my room was. The shower could be better if there was a holder for the sprinkler. Not enough plugs for electronics. Only one available. Not exactly cheap for what you get.
The location is right at the heart of the touristic area of Athens. Restaurants and coffee shops just outside the hotel, and just minutes away from Monastiraki Square and the metro station. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. I felt like home as soon as I arrived. Free water at the lobby. The view from the upper terrace was incredible, including the Acropolis Hill. Very quiet at night.

ChinaYes, this is a small hotel with no elevator and my room was in the attic on the fifth floor, which was very dark and small. The windows couldn't be closed so there were mosquitoes in the room. There is only one power socket in the room. Bathrooms and toilets are shared...sounds like everything is bad? No, quite the opposite. I will stay here again next time I come to Greece. The room is in the city center. It is very safe at night. The restaurants around are delicious and the staff are friendly. For a tourist this is all perfect.

NetherlandsAs the hotel is right in the lively centre of Athens, there can be quite a lot of noise from the outside. Although I personally do not mind this, people who have trouble sleeping in noisy environments should keep this in consideration.
The hotel has an amazing location right in the heart of the city and near the metro, making it easy to reach and an ideal location to explore the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facilities were as disclosed on the website. The views from my room and from the shared balcony were very nice. Overall a very good offer for the price and I would certainly considering staying here again in the future.

AustraliaWe were up five flights of stairs (no lift) and the shower room was in the middle of the corridor. As the kitchen was downstairs, it wasn't practical for us to use it. However, it was budget accommodation and that's the trade off.
Great location, walked straight out of hotel into outdoor dining areas. Close to the main sites, and I had a wonderful view of the Acropolis from my room.

The bedroom was small but cosy. Bathroom really small but adequate for me. Location was perfect, right in the middle of the "action". I am going to Athens next month so I'll be staying there again.
