Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThis house surpassed all our expectations; we booked it only for one night after visiting Olympia, and we regretted not being able to stay longer! The host was super friendly, and the house itself is very confortable and well equipped, decorated with taste, with a modern bathroom and kitchen and a lovely patio. We could park the car within the property, which was very convenient since we had a heavy suitcase. I'd definitely recommend Nikolas House!

CanadaLiked everything!
The property is lovely, decorated nicely, nice back yard, small but I loved sitting at the table sipping a glass of wine and reading, well equipped kitchen, nice linens and towels. The host left us some oranges from their garden, olive oil for their trees, some jams, etc. It is a lovely place to spend some time. Christos couldn’t be more accommodating. There is also a secure on site parking spot. They also have a family restaurant in Ancient Olympia on the Main Street. The restaurant is called “Filoxenia” and is located between the two gas stations. Lovely restaurant and great food. Lovely family that work there as well.

AustraliaWe loved everything about our stay. The host Christos was such a genuine person. He had the place renovated himself and it is done with style with quality fittings and fixtures. Having a secure car park and the washing machine was great. Great place to stay while visiting Ancient Olympia but you need a car.

Great location - less than 20 mins drive to the Olympia Archaeological site. Beautiful house, very clean, a backyard with an olive tree, free parking, lovely village, bakery and mini-market right in front of the house. Christos is an excellent host - super friendly and very helpful, he makes you feel welcomed to the house where his ancestors lived.

Cozy small house but big enough for family of 4, we were welcomed by Christos, who showed around, explained the rules and answered all of our questions and gave recommendations. Place is clean, fully stocked kitchen, coffee, water, also good sized bathroom and washing machine. Our stay was quite pleasant and enjoyable.

CanadaWe liked everything. 😀
If you’ve always wanted to live in a small village on a hill, staying at Nikolas’s house will give you that opportunity. He has converted a 100 year old stone building into a beautiful small house with all the modern conveniences you need. It’s refreshingly cool on hot days and there’s a lovely area in the back to sit and enjoy the garden (plus there’s a private parking spot). The washing machine was a huge bonus for us, and we were given freshly picked oranges and other snacks to tide us over. There is a queen-sized bed as well as two singles, so perfect for families or couples. There are a few restaurants nearby but honestly, it’s worth driving the 8 minutes into Olympia to dine at Filoxenia (means hospitality), also owned by Nikolas, his wife Athena and his son Christos. Their food was the best we had during our four day stay! They are the kindest people and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The house was just perfect - we would definitely stay again if we are ever lucky enough to go back to that area.

CanadaNicely renovated, private, self-contained suite attached to a family home in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Bed was very firm & linens modest however the sleep was reasonably comfortable & the host, Christos, was very pleasant & helpful with local tips. Also, it was a big bonus to have a laundry machine mid-trip. The location is good with private yard, clothesline & parking. If you are reasonably fit the walk to Ancient Olympia and back is very pleasant.

Host was an absolutely amazing person! Met us on arrival. Great communication in the lead up to us arriving. Giving us exact instructions on the place and village and how to find him. As its quite a small village. We are used to travelling this way, so if you are new to the Greek mountain village life, this is definitely a great way to experience it. Amazing check in and explanation of everything we needed. We travel week by week to new locations for work. Living in a new area and new accommodation always provides its challenges and excitement. This place was exactly what we needed. Great wifi, great facilities for cooking at home during the week. Very nice quiet little village with friendly locals. Fully fenced and lockable property so you feel safe with your car. Huge place! It was only 2 of us but it can host more for sure. Great outside area on both sides of the house to sit and enjoy a meal or coffee and even work. A quick 10 minute drive to Ancient Olympia which you will for sure want to visit! After living in a new place from week to week for over 6 months for now... this is one of the best places we have stayed.
