Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilTo find the hotel was not easy because numbers wasn't signed on the street. And to get inside the elevator at night is very busy.
Recommend if sleeping is something you need to do at a lower cost than the craziness prices that HK is now. So if you can't afford a better hotel you won't die in sleeping here one or two days because is clean, and tidy. No noise from streets during the night despite being in a very busy area and a very old building

PhilippinesThe crowd downstairs, spitting anywhere is like a normal thing to the people downstairs.
Secured and they clean the room every other day. Customer service was superb, too.

Indiabathroom is very small and it has opaque glass as wall ;-) The lift is difficult to get as its on 8th Floor (total 15 floor), but we observed that there is relatively less rush for B wing compare to A wing. This hotel is in B wing.
Its operate by two sisters, they are very friendly and cooperative. in fact they have upgraded our room from 2 bed to 3 bed with Window. Room has all required/ mentioned facilities. Great Location for all sight seeing and to catch Metro. Nathan road is the most hustling and bustling road, tourist will enjoy, shopping and food, bar and lighting on road and building, which is just walkable distance. IMP - You will find all Indian, Pakistani, Arabic, African restaurant with reasonable cost.

SingaporeThe room was small though but it was Hong Kong.
The host, Ah Ying, was excellent in her service. She patiently provided directions and recommended places worth visiting such as the peak and Lamma Island. We had a wonderful time hiking up Lin Kok Shan which had a pananoramic and breathtaking view of the islands and ocean before reaching the beautiful Shek Tai Wan beach and villages. Ah Ying also checked in with us if we needed extra quilt when the weather became colder and was so sweet to give us a box of the famous and yummy wife biscuits before we left.

United KingdomI stayed with one other person in a room with one double bed and one single bed. It was very small and you cannot open both suitcases on the floor at the same time. To use hot water you need to turn the switch on 10 minutes before you use hot water. The shower sometimes leaks water. Our toilet stopped working a few times so you have to fill the tank with water manually to flush. The guesthouse is on the 8th floor and only one set of lifts serve the even number floors so sometimes you may have to wait two turns to get on the lift. Sometimes waiting 5-10 minutes. Alot of the time quicker to walk down the stairs. But the stairs are a bit creepy - One homeless guy sleeping there one night, saw some cockroaches there another night.
Very convenient location 1 minute or less walk away from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. The bus 21A outside the hotel also goes direct to the airport and because it is one of the very first stops to the airport you will get a seat and space for your luggage. Towels are changed every 2 days. Room slippers are included. There is shower gel and shampoo, toothbrush cup and toothbrush included. Room is tidied everyday. There is a tiny communal space to make hot drinks. And a fridge in the corridor for you to use. Nice and simple and the room does the job for someone using it to sleep only. Family that own the place are really nice.

ItalyBed a bit hard, fitted in rooms slightly larger than it. Even you you travel light you'll have to unpack on your bed. Walls are pretty thin and some guest can be noisy. The guest house is accessed through a common lobby at the ground floor, that hosts tons of small stalls selling anything, and out of two elevators only the left one will lead you to the 8th floor. The right one only serves the odd floors.
Beverly Guest House is hosted at the 8th floor of the Chunking Mansions, a typical old style Hong Kong high rise building. The location is super conveniently in between Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Stations. The building itself has a feeling of run down, with views from the windows that can give you the Blade Runner feeling. The rooms, super tiny, have both floor and walls covered in tiles, that make them easily cleanable and sanitizable. The staff is polite but not too fluent in English. No cockroaches spotted

MalaysiaThe original guest house we booked is located in the Chong Hin plaza. Chong Hin plaza is a run down building. The lift towards the room is small, crowded and spoilt.
