Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel is dated and the decorating is a bit strange, but this did not interfere with my stay.
The location of the hotel was very good in the heart of Kowloon and close to subway. The staff were excellent...very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good with a good selection from a small hotel. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy.

SingaporeThe furniture is a little outdated. If you are particular with that, then you may not like it. Don't expect any views as the buildings are close to each other. Our room happened to face a cafe, so we kept the curtains drawn most of the time.
Staff were very helpful and they arranged all our rooms on the same floor. Our request for twin bed was accommodated. When the extra bed was faulty, they rectified pretty fast. They even change the shower curtain daily for the room. The location was off the main street, which works well for us. It is not too busy and crowded. The hotel is smack in between 2 mtr stations. Though it is nearer to tsim sha tsui station. There are plenty of food options around the hotel. And they are good eatery that recommended by local. If you are a fan of korean food, the street further down has a few korean restaurants.

PhilippinesThe rooms are quite small and dark. It’s also fully carpeted so it could potentially bother those with allergies as it happened to us. Breakfast is good but lacks options and quite repetitive.
The property is beautiful and filled with modern necessities. It is also centrally located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui with plenty of restaurants and sites nearby. The staffs are extremely accommodating and friendly and would go the extra lengths to make sure our stay is the most comfortable it could possibly be.

South AfricaFound the staff quite stand offish. The breakfast room male staff were abrupt and unfriendly. Stayed for 6 nights and was not made to feel welcome. No offers of coffee and eggs are made to order. My eggs did not arrive on the first day. I was too exhausted with jet lag to follow up, ate the rest of my brekkie and left. Very slow service on other days. I was also unhappy about the 1000hkd deposit demanded at check in. Receptionist wanted to ‘hold my credit card’ as security and had quite a bad attitude about it. Not handled very nicely and not the welcome I appreciated after an exhausting long haul flight.
Great location! Rooms were a decent size. Breakfast was adequate but very repetitive.

United States of AmericaThey could have provided more local services information.
Immediately upon walking in you noticed some smell they were pumping into the lobby, it was very pleasant. They lacked room service which was disappointing, they should have had information on local delivery services and eateries. We did have a really cold mini fridge in our room the we appreciated.

ThailandThe gym is very small and located in the basement floor without window. I rather go out for running with fresh air. The bed is too soft, I have to stretch my lower back every morning when I wake up. The lighting system in the room. There is no master switch for the light, you have to switch on and off each lamp every time you need.
Location is good. Near Tsim Sha Tsui Station. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars near hotel. The room is clean. Cleaning staff is very friendly and nice. She asked if we need anything every time we met in the hall way.

JapanI hope the hotel receptionist who is in charge of the reservation had more flexibility in terms of changing the length of the stay. I informed the hotel around a month in advance about the change in itinerary, which shortened the stay in Hong Kong from two nights to one night, they still charged me for two nights. Also, the business receipt that was supposed to be ready by the check out was not ready.
The location of the hotel is with the walking distance from the metro station as well as Victoria Harbor. The staff was quite friendly.
