Nothing - it was fantastic through and through!

We loved each moment our stay with Malena. The rooms were clean and fresh, and had a beautiful view of the temple and clock tower. The room was air conditioned and had a fridge to keep any drinks and food cool for the next day. The bedding was also very comfortable. There is an added bonus of an upstairs terrace with the most gorgeous views of the city and was matched with some homemade lemonade 🍋 However, the main charm of this place is the lady that runs it, Malena. She gave us lots of great suggestions of what to see and do whilst staying in Split and even got us a Split Card which gave us free or discounted entry to a lot of local attractions! One of our favourite recommendations was the walk around the Forest Park Marjan which gave us a great view of the city and had amazing wildlife to see! Nothing was too much for Malena, and you could tell she genuinely cared for us whilst staying with her. She is the true selling point of this place! Would strongly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Split and we hope to come back soon! From Harry and Tom 😊

The room was up three flights of stairs and no lift however that was my error in selection and as I like to enter in my diary I missed a desk in the room

The Host was great, giving us an explanation of what to do and see in Split. We got extra beach towels and free fresh lemon aid. The host also helped us out with our early departure time. The place was very clean and very quiet. The location was great, right were all the action was, but again very quiet. The air conditioning unit worked great.

Malena is an amazing host, I loved the house decorations and our hosts were so comforting. the place is at the heart of Split touristic area.

Soundproof of walls. Neighbours left their phone in the room, so waik up at 6am not very convinient

Extremly clean place. Close to everything. As you stay in old town, expect noise. Terrace is not same floor, but nice.

Amazing location in the city center, with lovely balcony with the view on st. Duje church tower inside of Diokletian's palace. Host Malena welcomed us with cold lemonade and nice story about neighborhood. We had early flight, so it was convinient with buses and taxi close to the apartment.

Nothing, it was great for our flying visit whilst on route to Korcula.

The location is excellent right in the heart of the old town. Melena was a good host and welcomed us providing informative advice and tips of places to visit whilst in Split. The room is an excellent location in the old town and very quiet given you are in the heart of this district. The terrace was a real hideaway amongst the rooftops with a lovely view of the palace tower.

Nothing - expectations exceeded.

The room was spacious, tidy, clean and restocked daily with toiletries etc. Location was prime and the terrace was lovely for a morning coffee. Our host was extremely friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain to us main attractions and handy information. She was very kind and hospitable. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Split.

It was excellent and I would come here again in a heartbeat. Be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit, which was no problem for me. Some reviewers commented about noise, but this was not a problem for me at all. If the windows are open, there is some street noise, but the windows were excellent quality and I couldn’t hear a thing with them closed.

Wonderful welcome from Malena - the room was very comfortable and met my needs as a solo traveler perfectly! I was so pleased to be inside the palace, within easy walking distance to everything - and close enough to come back to the room for a mid-day siesta

I very much enjoyed my stay In this historic and beautiful castle. The room was spotless, clean and spacious. The host was very helpful and accommodating supplying a few nice extras. I felt very safe and she went out of her way to. answer questions and give suggestions. The only challenge was the four floors up to carry my suitcase which was very normal for this accommodation. I would rate my experience as 10+.

Nothing!

The properly felt so homely and Malena was the most welcoming host. She accommodated me really last minute after I had to find new accommodation and welcomed me with a drink. She also did the same for my friend who joined me on the second night and arrived late. The property was beautifully cleaned, in a fantastic location in the middle of old town and the view of the clock tower from the window was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I would recommend Malena’s Palace to anyone!

Nothing bad really, but the rooms are on the third floor with no elevator so if you have heavy bags that it good to know🙂

The owner lady was wonderful, welcoming and answered any questions we had about Split and things to do! Also gave us cherry juice and cherries upon arrival which was greatly appreciated! Also nice room, clean and pleasant view of the rooftops!
