Lobby is designed for summer use with open access to the terrace, it is somewhat restricted in winter.

Very nicely renovated 1906 Building with high ceilings throughout. The old grandeur is definitely alive and well here. The architects of the extensive recent renovation have resisted squeezing in more rooms and extra floors keeping the rooms very spacious. Public parking is 50 meters away. The sea view is truly unobstructed from the higher floors.

Sorry that hotel does not have inner swimming pool and wellness massages are expensive (compared to similar at Slovenian hotels wellnesses, but similar in the same hotel chain in Warsaw).

Friendly staff (reception guy recommended to visit Chestnut festival in Lovran and we went- it was great!), good comfortable bed, large sized room with a great sea view, great location, very good variety and quality of food at breakfast.

Location was perfect, very friendly and helpful staff. Different variety of food was offered which was awesome. Parking was located at the very close location. The room was with balcony and view at the town and the sea.

Rooms are clean, bright. Stuff is welcoming and helpful, it was rainy day and our bus supposed to be later than check out and we felt really welcomed at lobby too after hour check out

Would have given full scores across the board if there had been a kettle in the room. This was certainly missed!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Allowed me to have a very early check in and went out of their way to be helpful (Luka). Luka’s help in particular is the reason for high score. The room was large and clean. The shower was amazing… very powerful. I loved the way the hotel had kept and worked around the original features such as the window shutters

The central location is a bit of a disadvantage from parking point of view: the hotel has a parking place but it´s an open courtyard cca 5 minutes away from the hotel. Unfortunately there´s no gym or any other recreational facilities (sauna, spa).

The staff at the check-in/reception and at the restaurant was very kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The room was spacious, with a very comfy bed and a clean and nice bathroom with a bathtub. The minibar was nicely and fully filled. The cleaning service was super. The location of the hotel is central and it has the "K.u.K-Flair", which is anyway typical of Opatija. Park Angiolina is just accross the street and so is the Lido -if you can afford EUR 70 per day for 2 sunbeds, 2 towels and a bottle of mineral water plus a fruit bowl. If your budget is more limited, Plaza Slatina is also close-by, max 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel Bristol has a nice bar with a terrace.

For breakfast it was a bit poor selection, very bad coffee and water used for drinks (juice, etc...) was filled from plastic bucket for watering flowers, even in font of the guests :( Location is perfect and rooms quite comfortable, but with very loud air condition device.
