Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaNil complaints.
Everything was great. We had the deluxe room. Which was huge for 2 adults and 2 kids . Also, had half board. Food was delicious and worth the cost. Location is decently close to centre via taxi.

United Arab EmiratesFor us the location was perfect as we were travelling by car from Bosnia to Italy. It was close to the center and close to the highway. The staff was amazing. Its summer time and having an underground parking is just perfect. Also I noticed that they have Halal certification which is essential for us. The hotel is generally good, however I was expecting a bit more for a 5 stars rated hotel. On the way back to Bosnia I have booked the same stay.

Slovakia- Weak lighting in the bathroom and no magnifying mirror. - Light switches next to the bed emitted a strong blue light all night. - Bathroom power socket didn’t work. They said it was for security reasons, so drying hair in the bathroom wasn’t possible – quite odd. - Vegetables at breakfast weren’t fresh.
- Iron in the room - Climate control - Bright room with windows that could be opened even on the higher floor. - Good gym – surprisingly well equipped. It was a bit too hot in there, though (26°C according to the wall thermostat).

United KingdomSadly the jacuzzi wasn't working (again) and neither was the steam room, but as it was 36 deg outside it wasn't necessary. The local craft beer selection has changed and this is not as good as the previous one. But I am being picky here.
Really comfortable and spacious rooms, loved the upgrade! Excellent friendly staff, good food and a beautiful pool with views across the city.

RussiaPicked the hotel for a spa day after a work trip - The Spa area is all the way up on the 10th floor with a full glass front, so you get a brilliant view over Zagreb from the pool, plus it has a very nice sauna and a steam bath. The bathroom in a regular double room was insanely spacious with a really large shower and a bath tub. Everything is super clean, TV channels from all around the world, very spacious room layouts. For the service, the price is very very reasonable, would absolutely stay there again.

SerbiaSome loud guests at the bar :)
The cleanliness was 11 out of 10 :) Staff is super helpful and kind. I am a smoker so I love that there is a dedicated space for coffee and cigarettes. Also, since I travel by car, parking in the garage is a valuable feature for me. Will stay here every time I come to Zagreb.

United StatesThe price of bottle water in the room, too high. And for the 3 nights stay we only received one bottle. As an international brand hotel, you do not limit it to one bottle of water per stay. For your members is free every night. So no much incentive to enroll for me to your reward program.
The restaurant & buffet were great. The service staff was friendly. Great detail with the cookie as a welcome party.

CanadaThe location is convenient to the main bus station (a 7 minute walk). There's nothing interesting to see within easy walking distance of the hotel so you have to take a 4-5 stop tram trip to get to Zagreb's old town. But for 1 night in transit - or if you have a car and want to avoid driving anywhere near the old town - the price was right for the hotel quality and location.
We decided on the Doubletree because of the pool, steam room and sauna. We were arriving late in the day and taking the airport shuttle bus to the airport the next morning. The spa facilities and our room were well kept up and the Oxbo Restaurant on the main floor served good, reasonably priced food.

MaltaThe facilities - pool area, jacuzzi, etc. were closed for maintenance. We visited the hotel intentionally to use these! The AC in the room was also very noisy.

AustraliaHilton is becoming more and more miserly. Breakfast costs are out of control. We had two bottles of complimentary water because of being a gold Hilton Honor member. For non-members, you will be up for 3 EUR for a small bottle of water. The coffee selection was awful - not drinkable. Milk containers are so small you need to use two (your entire quota) for one coffee. Why not provide free water and decent coffee and a 500 ml container of milk? Here's an idea, throw in some soft drinks and confectionary for free for those travellers who arrive late and do not like the idea of spending 4-5 EUR for a soft drink or chocolate bar. We had to pay an additional tourist tax of c. 6 EUR on top of the 190 EUR for the room. I couldn't even claim the accommodation on my Hilton Honors as I had booked through a booking.com. Very disappointing but this unfortunately seems to be the world we live in.... Just a side note, I stay at a hotel in Sydney that is as good as Hilton and has a free mini bar - consume the lot at no cost. I would add it is booked out for months.
Room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The biscuits provided by reception were a nice touch.

United KingdomNowhere to do mat work in gym, apart from right by gym reception. Breakfast rather expensive for what it is, and not a very user-friendly layout. More space in fridge for own things would be useful.

United KingdomBreakfast offerings were not really what we wanted, and the buffet arrangement wasn't very user-friendly. I'm only being picky as the breakfast is relatively expensive. Nowhere in gym for stretching/mat work, though mats were provided. The space could do with reorganising a bit. More space in fridge for our own stuff would have been appreciated.
Lovely staff on front desk. Comfortable room and bed. Great bathroom. Luxurious pool with sauna/steam room, and well-equipped gym. Easy transport to centre.
