Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandEverything! We had such a wonderful stay at Ljubo & Ana! The guest house is so quaint and cozy. They went above and beyond to accommodate my husband’s request and surprised me with delicious cake and wine, which made my birthday feel so special. 💕 The early breakfast was a perfect for starting our day. Plitvice Lakes were walking distance from the property. Thank you for your kind hospitality, we truly felt welcomed and cared for. Highly recommend!

New ZealandStairs up to the room
We had an upstairs bedroom (with ensuite) which is located in the host's house. Very tidy and comfortable. Due to the stairs, we left our bags in the car outside, however there is a ground floor room. Ana cooked a lovely breakfast, which enabled us to get to start the Park Walk at 7am. We checked out then and took the car to the Park's carpark. The area is quiet and there is an excellent restaurant about 100m up the road where we had dinner.

South KoreaThe house was super cozy and beautiful. Ana was really sweet and always busy taking care of the place — kind of like a grandma looking after her grandkids. We loved just lying on the sunbeds and watching the sky. We were hoping to see a lot of stars, but they showed up too late. Anyway, it was absolutely beautiful!

United KingdomNothing, everything was very good
Lovely guest house with several rooms. Our hosts were very friendly and Ana's breakfast is excellent for 10 Euros, sets you up for the coming day at the lakes. There is a restaurant within walking distance (5 -7 minutes walk) and a couple of other restaurants about 15 minutes walk away. We arrived mid afternoon and enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden. Location is excellent , about a 10 minute walk to entrance 1. We left our motorbike gear with Ana as we were only staying 1 night. She had no problem with this which made our day very easy.

Lovely room and gardens in a great location for Entrance One Plitvice Lakes. Ana is a beautiful lady, who provides an incredible breakfast for Euro 10, will do washing for a small fee, called bus company to verify it was still coming due to road closures for a Marathon, then arranged taxi. Loved our stay.

United StatesLocation: I walked from the bus stop w/ my luggage and should have taken the taxi (10 euro cash only & you will probably need to haggle a bit). Some say walking through the parking lot saves time. I found walking on the road easier, and I think faster. Whichever side of the road you get off at, walk away from the park (Entrance 1) and take the first road that forks off the main road. That is the road to Rastovača (it runs parallel to the big parking lot for Entrance 1) and the accommodations are numbered, so easy to find. Breakfast: Self-serve with Fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, tea, fruit juice, bread, cold cuts, eggs, sausage - there was a variety in pastries daily - a deal for 10 euro and you can make a sandwich to take to the park. The mother makes breakfast, and she is very sweet, always asks what time you want to eat and helped me get a taxi when leaving. They also sale wine, I did not buy any, but the prices were very reasonable. Room: No frills, but very clean, this is a family run business, they live on-site and are always willing to help. My room had a small refrigerator, kettle, and a smidgeon of coffee. There was not any silverware in the room, but I was offered coffee every morning, even when not having breakfast. The windows open (no screens), but there is both radiator heat and wall AC, you will always have good temperature control. There is a grocery store in town that I never found, suggest bringing food if you plan on fixing your own meals. My room did not have a stovetop, but I could make prepackaged soup with the kettle.

United StatesWe stayed here for two nights and we loved everything! The property is SOOOO cute and Ana makes it better with her presence! This place was a perfect 10-min walk to Entrance 1. This place made us feel like home when we came back after a full day’s hike in the park. We wanted to sit outside on the benches and have a little drink. Ana came hurriedly to give us cushions for the benches to make us more comfortable! Gestures like these were very sweet! She was also very generous with her breakfasts - a nice spread with some of her own homemade recipes, and a nice hot omelette that she made for us each day of our stay. Don’t think twice, if you can find a spot here, take it.

AustraliaLocation was idyllic. The property sits on a road surrounded by other Guesthouses all with beautifully maintained grounds amid gently rolling slopes and faces dense woodland right across the road. It is an easy 10-15minute stroll to Entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes. The property is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Ana provides a wonderful home cooked breakfast with an abundance of her freshly cooked pastries which she encourages you to keep eating more. She cooks omelettes freshly on the spot and has a varies of meats, cheeses and vegetables. The cost for breakfast is €10 per person.
