Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSlightly tired. Old lifts. Old carpets in the room that need replacing- a bit sticky. AC blew air but didn't seem to cool down to the temperature set.

Hong KongLift noise - for light sleepers this would be an issue. Pay more for sea view room and ask to be away from the lift. The in house masssge is weird and not at all what I was hoping for. Would not get another massage there if I stayed again.
Simple room with decent bed and bathroom. The location is great if wanting to be based in Rab town. It’s a few minutes walk to the ferry to Rijeka. Staff were really helpful.

Hong KongLift noise is you’re a light sleeper - get a sea view room as far as possible from the lift. The massage in-house was very strange (but cheap). I definitely didn’t get the type of massage I had asked for and the music in the room was not relaxing (radio songs and people chatting occasionally ) plus the man was humming along to the songs while massaging me. Be aware this hotel is huge and is most likely a tour group hotel at times.
Simple room with decent beds. Great location in Rab town. The sea view room is nice and is quieter than the city view rooms (I stayed in both). The hotel is huge so would depend on where your room is but out the front of my room was just the tour boats so there was no noise from them. I’d say this would be true for most rooms. Bathroom was fine but you did need to be careful that water didn’t go on the floor when showering. Staff were helpful and remembered me between stays.

Hong KongIf you’re a light sleeper then the noise of the lift will most likely bother you. Also, street noise. Probably worth paying a little more for the sea view and ask to be in a room away from the lift. The hotel is huge with no frills, but if all you are wanting is a room in a good location then this hotel is good for this.
Great location in Rab Town. The hotel is simple but does the job for the most part. Beds were fine, bathrooms seem to be updated recently but still water gets in the floor. The staff were really helpful.

NetherlandsThis place looks as if it’s been stuck in the 1970s. It appears neat from the outside, but that’s just an illusion. When we arrived in the room, the air conditioning turned out to be a portable unit that WE were expected to set up ourselves. The bathtub was dirty, covered in limescale and encrusted grease. The room also had a connecting door to the adjacent room, and the neighbours were extremely noisy at night, so we could hear everything. Luckily, we were able to have our room changed—in the middle of the night!—to one without a connecting door. The breakfast was terrible, and the next morning the cleaning lady stormed into our new room, apparently unaware that we had moved. This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
I didn't give 0 because the staff was very helpful and quick to solve the issues that we addressed.

United StatesNo AC. Brutal. Changed rooms but barely tolerable. Hotel has not invested in infrastructure. Lobby was a bit like a circus because it’s a big open space with kids constantly running around. Like being at the airport…

United KingdomNot clean , loads of carpets ( are those clean?) , add to ask the reception to clean my shower tube as there was residues from previous guests. The cleaning products used aren’t good. The toilet seat was not properly clean , the cleaning person just used a wet cloth to cleaning again. The breakfast bacon was terribly greasy and not cooked , the fried eggs were over clocked and cold.
Location is outstanding, swimming pool and sauna ( didn’t use it but it was there)

United StatesParking is $15 euros a day… and it gets really busy at night and if you come back late you’re not guaranteed a spot
Perfectly met expectations! Great location, very helpful and nice staff, and rooms with AC is a must! We had to catch an early ferry and staff very generously made us to go lunches because we couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast buffet.

SloveniaIt is not made for invalid and older persons, the elevator is only for 2 person, the pool don’t have stairs or something to climb and hold. Not ok for older guests. The hotel is very old and old fashioned and there was a larva under the blanket. The breakfast was ok. The staff was kind. It is not valid for this money. We will come again but not in this hotel.
