Nothing not to like

Absolutely amazing property So much charm to it right in the middle of old town. Loved everything about it. There is no elevator to get to the second floor so there are a few stairs but that didn’t bother us.

The stairs is tight and a bit of a challenge with suitcases and baggage, but there is not much that can be done as it’s an old building. It’s fine when not holding baggage.

Very nice apartment with plenty of room. The apartment was well decorated and spotlessly clean. Air conditioning was very good. Sheets and towels were all in very good condition and clean. There are two bathrooms which is very good for a family. Very close to everything in the old town.

The shower was slightly blocked when we stayed but that’s the only thing!

The location was superb! Felt very cosy and lovely atmosphere. Had a coffee machine and clean! Very close to the the dock where boats depart to Lokrum island

It was perfect!

The location and the property were both outstanding. Clean comfortable, attractive and very well outfitted. The ladies at reception were super kind and attentive and pointed out all the shopping and dining , plus all the little tips to help make our vacation memorable

The room smelt of sewer from the shower/ sink bathroom and it made coming back to the room hard. We had to keep the door closed at all times. We needed to climb ladders to get to the main and second beds (over 6 feet high) so the only bed on the ground was the sofa bed. We managed, but were not aware of this beforehand, so I don’t know how elderly or family with young children would cope. Lastly, the toilet seat and flush button were falling off and the toilet was running the entire time.

Amazing location, so convenient to everything, had everything we needed for our stay, and yet the room was quiet to sleep.

We had such an amazing stay in Dubrovnik. The apartment was perfect, as it is in the photos. The location was really good near to everything in the old town of the city and the view was stunning. I highly recommended! We truly loved it!!

Not a criticism, but information for potential customers: This flat is not suitable for someone with mobility issues. If you can’t climb stairs easily, you won’t enjoy staying here. Otherwise, I’d recommend it to my parents, as they would love the setting, but my father wouldn’t cope with the stairs.

This is a truly lovely gem of a flat. Very centrally located, but far enough away from the restaurants not to be blighted by noise. It is in the old bishop’s palace with a beautiful view over the front of the cathedral. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s truly lovely.

I feel lucky to have come across this wonderfully modern apartment in a 700 year old dwelling in the Old Town. The location could not be better, you're living on a street tucked behind the Cathedral. There are 2 grocery stores and a bakery on the next square over, and the Marina and Buža Beach are both within a 3 minute walk to an opening in the famous Wall. There's an abundance of restaurants and cafés in the vicinity. I loved being able to stroll the cobblestone lanes late at night and in the morning. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is so striking that it deserves the nickname “Pearl of the Adriatic.” It's ingenious how these old palaces have been converted to our style of living. Having the beds lofted is creative and makes great use of available space, rendering a serviceable kitchen, dining area, and a very comfortable sitting area. Kate is a superb host, she was waiting for us at the Cathedral, ready to escort us up to our unit. The sheets and towels are top-notch, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower room. All the cooking paraphernalia needed was onsite, but what was most appreciated-- because it's so rare to find in a rental -- were the super sharp knives and a new skillet. Additionally, a coffee station and olive oil/vinegar were supplied. Another thoughtful gesture was finding that beach towels were provided for our use. If you can take on a couple of flights of stairs, don't hesitate to book. I highly recommend a stay at Saraca Palace.

We knew that the old town would not be ADA compliant and the hike up the stairs was expected.

Located in Old Town Dubrovnik was special. I confess the 40+ steps up was a little daunting at first, but that's the way it is. The apartment was well appointed, we didn't lack for anything. Kate was punctual, helpful in arranging a ride to the airport, and made us feel welcome. The exterior picture has a red box around the apartment windows.

Great location in the old town . Excellent communication. Kate arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport and was waiting near the entrance to Old Town to show us to the apartment. Apartment was clean and had all you needed . Recommended.

As perfect as you could ask for in Dubrovnik! Central within Old Town with a gorgeous view and such a charming apartment - updated while maintaining the character of the old building. Our host Kate was so helpful and kind. 11 out of 10 stars!

Close to everything, in a city with tons of stairs I’m glad steps to apartment is minimized. Had everything we needed and host was quick to help and even scheduled a taxi for airport pickup.

It is up on the second floor. However, that makes the view great. Kate was so gracious to help us with out luggage when we checked in and out. This was very much appreciated.

Fantastic apartment! If I could give it 20 🌟 I would. Kate was so helpful! She met us and showed us to our apartment. She carried our over packed bags for us! She arranged a taxi and brought us extra detergent. The apartment is perfect. Two great bedrooms and it is so quiet. The washer was great. The location was fantastic, and it was so fun to watch the activity outside our window. This is one of the BEST apartments we have stayed at on our travels.

Only thing I can think of is it gets quite noisy in the mornings with trash pickup and deliveries to all the restaurants around. Would recommend maybe insulating the bedroom windows a little more for us light sleepers.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik. Just around the corner from the market plaza and Main Street. Staircase is a bit of a climb. But what a view. By far our favorite place we stayed on our two week vacation. Kate, our host met us upon arrival and showed us around the apartment and provided us with loads of information about where to go and what to do in Old Town. Just can’t say enough about the place. The beautiful classical architecture fit right into the city. And a good many amenities were included in our stay like coffee and detergent for the washer. Would jump at the chance to stay here again.
