Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaNothing that I can think of. It was a perfect stay. I recommend this to everyone travelling to Plitivice
I stayed at Villa Knezevic and I had a fantastic experience - The location is amazing, just 3 mins walk from the bus stop (all Flixbus buses stop there). And the villa is 20 mins easy walk to the entrance 2 of the national park. There is also a nice restaurant right opposite the villa :) - Staying at Villa Knezevic was like staying with family. The staff was so nice and helpful throughout. They even packed me lunch which came in very handy during the long walks in the national park - They were flexible with the check-in timings (I told them before that I'd arrive late and they made arrangements accordingly). Also, they allowed me to keep my luggage at the reception after the checkout - They have breakfast for 10€ in the morning. They have many different options of bread, meat, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, fruit etc. I really enjoyed the breakfast - The rooms are nice and clean. They are equipped with both heating and Air Conditioning.

I liked everything about my stay here. The staff were very friendly. The room matched the pictures shown online and it was extremely clean. The shower was very powerful and warm which was great after a long day walking. I also loved the little balcony. The location of the property was ideal, with just a short walk on a nice forest track to get to the lakes. The bus stop was also just a few minutes walk away. The staff gave me a packed lunch on the day I left which was so kind of them. I would happily stay here again.

IndiaWe had one of the most wonderful stays in the villa. It's located in al village, Mukinje which is approx 20-30 min walk from the Plitvice lakes entrance 2. The walk through the forest itself was amazing, The host and staff were really very helpful and patiently answered all our queries. The busses to Split, Zadar, Zagreb stop just 2 min away. Since it's a village, there are limited eating places. Pizzeria Vucnica is located just across the road has really good pizzas.

BelgiumThe place is very clean and lit is ocated in a very quiet area and yet close to the supermarket and restaurants , bus stops which serve Zagreb and Zadar, and it is only 15 minutes away from the Entrance 2 of Plitvice Lakes. The host were quite helpful and gave us useful information regarding restaurants in the area etc. They only serve breakfast which unfortunately we could not try since we had to leave quite early but during our early check -out, the host handed us a complimentary lunch packet to go on our way to Zagreb.

United States of AmericaI cannot think of anything!
The property was exceptionally clean with an excellent location near to bus station, Lake Entrance 2, and a well supplied grocery store. And the breakfast was extraordinary, with so many good things to choose from. But most of all, we appreciated the very kind and helpful staff. They even packed us a lunch the day we departed.

PolandExceptionally nice staff. Cosy and clean rooms with fridge. In the hall kettle, mugs, tea and instant coffee. We could leave our car on the parking and store our small fridge, connected to the power for free during our trip to Lakes. And we got for free the lunchboxes for a trip!! So kind! We really do recommend this place.

United KingdomWonderful Villa in a perfect location for exploring the park. The FlixBus stops 4 minutes walk from the Villa and it will also pick you up at the same stop when leaving. The pizza restaurant across the road is fabulous after a full days walking and the hosts gave us a lovely pack of food when we left for our journey.

ItalyNothing to say about the accommodation. We arrived on August 15 and the restaurant was fully booked, We waited for one hour to get seated. However it's not host's fault, just we could book in advance if the host told us :)
the place is very nice, at the entrance of the village, walking distance from Plitvice entrance 2. There is a restaurant just in front of the house, not bad, open from 7am to 11pm (in August), it's very convenient for all meals.
