The welcome was excellent always ready to help with any thing. Service was excellent at breakfast and afternoon Jason would go out of his way to make sure your day is started right. I hope to be staying here in near future. Evrything you need is there in the hotel ie they would organise your day for you how you want it.

the amenities, comfort, style and location were all perfect- right next to the Basilica, walking distance to everything, and delicious breakfast- but the most exceptional thing of all was the staff. especially for Americans who speak no Hungarian, their personalized attention was unreal. They took care of calling cabs and making dinner and tour reservations for us when we needed help, helped arrange our mandatory covid tests before departure (required to enter US again), and Cornell the music director even secured orchestra seats to a ballet at the opera house for a sold out show. we adore this place.

The Aria is a fabulous hotel, from the incredible warmth of its staff to its lovely spa and great rooftop bar and restaurant. Our room was well appointed and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was really good quality and the wine and cheese in the afternoon were an added bonus. The location was perfect for our Christmas stay, just next to St Stephens and a Christmas market. We walked to all the tourist destinations in the city without any trouble. Unless you want a front line river view, you would be hard pressed to get a better location.

The food delivered by room service left us underwhelmed

The staff, most notably Barbara, was attentive to our needs and adjusted an issue beautifully ... making it no longer an issue. Housekeeping provided lovely turndown service nightly with special touches. Our rooms were impeccable with the Opera Suite gorgeous! We visited during the Christmas Market which was a literal few steps away and close to other notable tourist attractions. Bring your covid 19 vaccine card everywhere in the city as you will be asked.

I can honestly not think of anything I don’t like. The road in front of the hotel requires special permission to drive on, so if you are driving to the hotel, contact them in advance for proper instructions. I did not know this in advance, which is my own fault, not theirs. This made our arrival a bit more stressful than it needed to be, but again it was 100% my fault, not theirs. I’m just sharing this so you don’t plan poorly like I did.

We loved everything! The staff could not be better from front to back. They are friendly and helpful and efficient and compassionate. Every little architectural and decorative detail is as perfect as it could be, often to an amusing degree. The lobby, for example, is such a jaw drop gem that visitors come in day and night just to see it and take pictures of this fun and elegant space. I can’t blame them. To stay there for 5 nights made us feel quite spoiled, while also making us want to do it again! How good is a hotel that makes you want to travel more than 5,000 miles, not entirely for the city, but with a hotel being a prime attraction? This place really is that good. It’s less of a hotel than an experience, or as I said many times on the property; it is a love letter to hotels.

Location is perfect, the staff is truly superb, Barbara, Balazs, Elemer everyone at the Front Desk, GM Ferenc super professional and attentive, housekeeping, breakfast staff friendly, engaging and knowledgeable as to provide the right recommendations. Well done! The hotel is clean, thematic and different.

The only concern was trying to obtain the most comfortable temperature in the room. The controls had obscure directions and it was impossible to achieve an optimal temperature in the room, which was slightly overheated and a little stuffy, but not bad enough to complain at the time. If we had stayed more than one night we would have asked for a check of the system.

The location was wonderful with a roof top bar that overlooks St Istvan cathedral church in the heart of Pest. The staff was professional, helpful and friendly, tending to all our needs during our stay. Breakfast was well done. The quality of the rooms and the hotel furnishings was superior and the musical theme was nicely done.

The payment precharge was left on my account for 8 days, so effectively I had two charges for the hotel all this time on my account, not in 40 years has this ever happened. They then proceeded to blame everyone else for the error and an no point in time did they apologise or refund the now many charges I had for their error. So as a word of warning, pay for the hotel in full when you get there, dont whatever you do allow them to do a precharge, youll regret it.

This hotel was always one of my favorites, even for business travel, the layout, staff, rooms everything, and this remains, however, on the checkout side its a very different story.

Shower and WC together but washing basin in the room as well as bath tube. Whilst bath tube can be considered as design object, a washing basin must be in separate room together with WC! very uncomfortable to use when partner sleep. Breakfast made in the lobby, not understandable when they have other rooms. Breakfast super basic definitely not on 5 star level that is the most or one of the most expensive hotel of Budapest. Staff super bad - nobody took our luggage at arrival neither escort us to room to explain lighting etc. Staff even refuse to prepare a freshly squeeze orange juice stating that every customer is happy with they have already on the self service!! room cleaning service mediocre. Had to make prepayment on a link given from hotel, credit card was not enough!! Difficult to understand hotel price when service is on such basic level and there is not even view from any room.

nice size room but wrongly disposed. good location from visiting the city and enjoy the christmas markets.
