Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We arrived very late, after midnight and staff was really nice, made sure we have everything ready to go bed directly without extending paperwork, which we did next morning since kids were really tired.I really appreciated. Place is a bit older, but nice and clean, having everything that you need even for longer stay. We got a great price deal so was definitely worth the price.

Only one relatively small and slow lift for 7-8 floors so often ended up on stairs, spa was extemely busy (i suspect people off the steet were having membership and using it), bed was very firm for us but could be good for others. Overall its a good value

Cleanliness left a little more to be desired, there were many stains along the carpet, tables and even in the bedlining. The apartment was very hot and every time we attempted to turn down the heating a bit it didn’t work. The bath tub had no plug so we could not bath. The spa is shared with a gym so when we were about to use it, the hot tub was packed with the gym users and therefore, we could not enjoy it.
It was very well located, the apartment itself was very spacious and well distributed. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

My only gripe was the hard pillows, and the swimming pool was closed for my whole stay.

Noisy residents throughout the night staying there, the room was grubby and shower hose was split so you couldn’t use it. There was no bedding for the sofa bed and it was stained

Staff is very aggressive and not communicative. They do not have basics of respect to customers nor basics of tourism specially girl on the pool and a guy at the reception. They were extremely arrogant and nervous. Do not recommend

Only that the workout place was overcrowded, too many people there to feel comfortable.. had to wait for a long time, but maybe it was a bad timing in the evening

Nothing was terrible - reception desk not always staffed, but the vibe is relaxed. Our sink had no plug but we got one as soon as we asked.
This is a nice, central self-catering option - we enjoyed our stay. Not sure what some reviewers were expecting, it's serviced apartments rather than a full service hotel. The apartments are spacious and well equipped, due a refurbishment soon but still very presentable and welcoming. Housekeeping visited twice in our five night stay, without asking. Strong wifi, excellent transport connections and easy access to the pool and gym which are also used by members.
