Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe rooms were overly scented with incense. The breakfast was underwhelming, and you have to eat it in your room. The hotel is inset and behind a huge gate with a tiny sign, very difficult to find and no instruction was given to appreciate that difficulty. The WiFi information cards in the rooms are incorrect, and when you do access the Wi-Fi, it is weak and kicks you off after a few minutes.
The rooms were Somewhat close to each other, and comfortable.

SerbiaThere is little natural light in the room. Instead of one large bed (as I indicated when booking), the room had two separate ones, which, of course, is not a problem for one night. Although the rooms are non-smoking, someone was still smoking somewhere nearby, as I could smell smoke.
A small, fairly comfortable room in a great location in the city center and close to the metro. There is a small refrigerator in the room. The reception is open 24 hours, which is very convenient. The breakfast included in the price turned out to be a packed lunch, but the croissant was really tasty :)

SwedenThe sound isolation is not very good. You can hear everything that is happening in the corridors, other rooms, and outside. The courtyard is dark and there is a lot of noise and smog coming from the cars that go on the big road in front of the courtyard.
Easy and fast check-in. There is 24 hour reception. The room was clean and tidy. It is suitable for a shorter stay. The beds were comfortable. The location is very good, central.

EstoniaIt was too hot in the room. Even with the window open it was too hot to sleep. Moreover, the wall behind the bed was very hot, as if it was a microwave.
Price is good, overall conditions are very good, except for the stuff listed below.

Picked it for the price and location. Ten minute walk from Keleti station and very close to Metro, trams and supermarkets. Good for two nights but if you plan a longer stay you might want something more upmarket.

PolandThe room was on the ground floor, when I entered it was very cold, I found windows was not closed properly. I turned on radiator and went to eat something around, which is kind of difficult around 10 pm. I this street was many homeless people, on the opposite site of the road, and a lot of police, so somehow I felt safe, because police was stopping and checking everyone. Anyway, if you are with kids and want to take night walk-this is not area for you. The stuff doesn't speak English, except one guy, who tried to help me but... Radiator in my room didn't work at all. I woke up frozen (it was winter outside). Anyway the room itself was ok
Just next to metro, even without GPS I was able to find it.

RomaniaWe could hear absolutely everything from the next rooms and also everyone who came through the hall. The hotel is located in an inner courtyard. If you arrive at the hotel before check-in hour, you have to pay 10 euro to receive the key earlier.
We appreciated the proximity to the train station and to the St. Stephen's Basilica, as we targeted the Christmas markets. Also, the room temperature was very nice after wandering around in the windy city and the shower pressure was great. Comfortable beds, even though we got twin.

Romania-Heating was possible only by radiators, which handle the job well but it's not the best solution -Very noisy street and no aircon, so in the summer you have to choose between heat and noise; this is not the hotel's fault tough.
-Good value for the price. The room is pretty basic, but it is also cheap, so all in all, the value for the price is good -Very good water pressure and hot water always present -Budapest-Keleti train station nearby -Easy to reach the city center with public transport -Comfortable bed -Big closet/warderobe -Very friendly staff

MoldovaOne of the four receptionist I encountered; which is the only reason I give this place a 6/10. Name is Nol (Null, Noul, Noelle?) 30-something years old. The two guys were spot on. The elderly lady was hilarious. Nol decides to knock on my door at 10:50 the next morning after I'd been out all night. Her first sentence was...if you don't check out by 11 you have to pay 10 Euro fee! No greeting, no 'good morning', no 'hey I'm single are you?'. I got dressed, packed and went downstairs. Told her in a Frank manner, show me your company policy about late check-out and I'll pay those 10 Euro and proceeded to start to load up my bike. She yelled after me that I had to pay the fee. Rude! I ignored her. Came back in to get the rest of my gear from upstairs and asked her in a Kurt manner if she might consider a change of career which doesn't include any interface with the public. Came back down with the remainder of my gear and had a Frank one-way 'constructive' discussion with her about what -customer service- means, implies, entails and the deficits she displayed; her tone, inflection, message, and demeanor. I'm a big-ish guy so I ensured my posture/body language wouldn't imply physical threat. Her company policy states 11:30 for late check out. I didn't have to pay, she said. My name's not Frank or Kurt. My name's John!
Nifty little place. Economical. Secure parking in large, gate-secured courtyard next to a main road that has all the creature comforts one might desire with the Danube (I think it's the Danube river) ferry tours harbour not far away. (can't hear traffic from the road in the room)

SlovakiaThis is just a notice for everyone that want to come with car. When arriving by car you should know that firstly you arrive at the hotel gate where you need to ring the side door and wait to be let in by the receptionist, there is no special place for you to park while the doors are opening so you are on the sidewalk, don't be confused that you have to drive in the bus line in order to get in the parking lot. After you get in, you pay for the parking, and then you need to park the car in a car garage that is very close to the hotel (2min drive, one minute walk). The parking is just overnight, you need to return the card for the parking when you check out in order to get your deposit back, which means that you check out at 11 am and if you plan to stay in Budapest for the day, you should arrange your own parking for the day. Doesn't matter if you have checked in latter in the day ex. you park your cat at 21 pm you pay the same amount as if you have parked at 14 pm. you still need to move the car at 11 am. next day. Hope this helps.
Location. This is a great located hotel in the city of Budapest, perfect for a weekend runaway and close to everything. You can walk or use the public transport but everything is very close. The stuff was nice and friendly. Please notice that the hotel is older so do not expect luxury. Is good value for money.

United KingdomThe room and bathroom were quite dark - with little sunlight due to being on the ground floor, and the lights themselves were quite dim. The TV also didn't have signal, but I didn't use it or ask for anyone to take a look.
For its price the location was pretty central, with the Jewish quarter within walking distance. The hotel itself is behind a gate on a main road, but I had no problems getting in or out when calling the buzzer. Staff were friendly and the room was an ok size for one person.
