I cannot think of anything I didn’t like.

The property is very clean & maintained, we loved our stay here. The owners are always working hard doing maintenance and upgrades which is a never ending battle in hot humid conditions. The owners/managers are lovely people, very helpful and kind. We loved the ease of breakfasts and the cool air conditioned rooms. Lovely swimming pool with cool refreshing water.

A very nice hotel set in a beautiful tropical garden with a large swimming pool. Very friendly hotel staff who willingly accommodated our needs. Large selection of breakfast types, including Balinese and Indonesian. Pleasant spa services - massages of several types. Practical transfer service from/to the airport - we recommend using it. During our nine-day stay with the family, we lacked for nothing. We sincerely thank all the hotel staff!

The owner should have communicated that they still are building new villas close to the main pool. This activity will continue till end of April 2024, causing noise and builders running around.

Location is excellent 10 minute walk into the town centre, the property has beautiful gardens, really nicely tended to and has a magical feel. I liked that the individual studios have their own little private garden with beautiful garden furniture, it’s really been left in its original state which I felt told a story about the families who had probably lived there in times past. The property is family owned and they really care about their guests, stopping for a chat in the garden. Breakfast has three options, certainly enough to start you off in the morning, fruit,eggs, lots of toast etc. Bad planning we were leaving on the day of their very religious festival and struggled to get a taxi to the airport but they arranged for a family member to take us, couldn’t have been kinder. I would say pack a small flashlight which we did and wee very grateful for it, the property is on quite a dark road with lots of holes and open drainage areas, it certainly helped us navigate our way in the dark, also warned motorbikes etc that we were actually walking in the road.

Beautiful villas, lovely and clean. Probably the best beds and pillows we’ve ever slept on for holidays. Location is great, there are some beautiful family-run warungs and coffee shops nearby.

The fridge was a little noisy during the night. The premise would be very quiet and relaxing but the swimming pool is undergoing a major construction which produces a lot of noise most of the time during the day. The work will be lasting around another 3 month.

The little villa is beautiful. The beds are big and relatively confortable. We enjoyed the terrasse with the nice view on the garden and the 2 swimming pool.

When on the property it was just beautiful but stepping out the main gate and walking on the Main Street was a bit of a death trap. Not the fault of the property.

Everything. Getting a massage on the premises was icing on the cake. Amanda is just wonderful. She was always connecting with us. She orchestrated the return of my hand bag that I left behind at a restaurant.

There was a bit of noise from building work during the day as they’re building new rooms. The road can be horribly busy with mopeds but can’t be avoided in Ubud. Occasionally hard to find staff if you had a question but they weren’t far away - would be good to have a bell on reception maybe.

I went to reception twice and found no one, upon arriving someone came to greet us after 15 minutes. It would be better if when approached by reception she gives you her WhatsApp number and tells you to message for anything because the phones don’t work in the room either. Maybe it was the location but I was bitten by mosquitoes a lot. The breakfast was made to order, it was a little limited, in saying that the staff were very accommodating and tried to give you what you asked for. Note that they only offer breakfast until 10am which I think could be extended to 10:30/11am as then they do not offer any food options for lunch or dinner. The gym needs updating massively. I am a gym goer so saw this option as a bonus but unfortunately the equipment is very outdated, there are no hand towels provided for your workout or little bottles of water. I’m ok with the room not having a/c but basic dumbbells is needed and exercise mats. The WiFi sometimes goes off and is a little weak. The outdoor furniture needs updating as the deckchairs had many stains on them.

The villa is immersed in so much greenery that you feel as if you are staying in the heart of the jungle. There are plants and trees of all kinds everywhere, with gardens and flowers everywhere giving authentic bali vibes. We stayed in a private villa with a private pool which was amazing. There was an outdoor kitchen with a microwave, stove top burner, some kitchen utensils, and an outdoor seating area next to the pool. There was also a water dispenser giving cold and hot water which was nice. Inside the room was extra large with a big bed and large sofa. Some of the bed linens and the mosquito nets around the beds had small stains. The bathroom had a shower and bathtub. The room was well equipped, and cleaned daily.

Drivers and front desk staff ( same people) were not very friendly, over charged for services and had a tone of hostility. Strange vibe around the place
