Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomthere are lots of ants running around but that's nature and the tropics. The bed has a lovely mosquito net and I didn't get bitten.
What a lovely place to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery! the pool was wonderful with great views over the valley. My room was spacious and had an outside bathroom which I loved. the staff all super friendly and helpful. the food was fantastic!! both dinners and breakfast! it's at the end of the road so not much traffic and I just heard the sounds of the birds. loved it!

IndonesiaAs thereis no air conditioning, the room is kept open for breeze and cooling. Would be wonderful if the hotel could provide some mosquito coils and lighters at each room for peace of mind during the evenings and early morning. Would also be good to have a self serve water refill station, although the staff were happy to refill our water bottles from the filter in the kitchen.
Pool, setting, view.

AustraliaThe place seems better suited for families than couples. Transport should be arranged locally, with higher prices. There is no aircon in rooms.
The location is perfect to explore the surroundings, the villa itself has beautiful gardens and a nice swimming pool

United States of AmericaAlthough it's in the mountain and rice field area, the heat is occasionally present and humidity is constant esp. after the rain. There is no air conditioner in all units and the fan is not enough to relieve some of the discomfort. Staff offers to clean everyday but we need to ask for sheets changed and fresh towels. The towels don't look clean as evidenced by gray stains ad make up stains (I don't wear make up). The cleaning is not as thorough compared to American hotel standards. Staff sweeps the floor but never use a dust pan and just sweeps the dirt out into the balcony! Poor neighbors on the ground floor. The toilet has bidet but the jet pressure is low, ad the toilet paper that they offer (similar with even high end hotels we stayed while in Bali) disintegrates before it even get wet! 'Advisable to bring reusable washable towels for hygienic purposes. The wifi is slooooow. If you are planning on technology detox, it will not be an issue.
We stayed in the Junior suite- top floor, and the view of the mountain and rice field are spectacular. Bring you binoculars because this is also a bird-watchers paradise! This is how I see Bali - lush and green! I've been deprived of mountain fresh air and nature scent, sights and sounds, and the stay at this villa cured that! There's sporadic cool breeze so it offers relief from heat (esp. coming from southern Bali and beach areas, Ubud..) The restaurant offers delicious meal options. The staff are wonderful! This, plus interactions with local/ Balinese became easily the highlights of my stay! I learn so much about Balinese culture with just a brief interaction with the locals. Some even offer to be our tour guide (scooter ride plus guide). We were able to see Mount Agung by walking to a nearby intersection after having an early dinner at a nearby warung. The villa is also few feet away from other warungs and massage places. Scooters are available for rent next door.

AustraliaThe property had bad lighting, especially with so many tropical insects we had to use mobile torches to go from our room to the hotel restaurant. It really needs more lights especially after the sunset the place becomes quite scary
Even though the room was clean and comfortable, it wasn’t cleaned every day. The pool was beautiful!

United KingdomThe bathroom wasn't the best, but not bad.
We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the pool below the suite, it was a fantastic room. The view was outstanding. The breakfast was great, lots of options which I liked, I had oatmeal or a smoothie bowl my husband had eggs and bread. The pool was fantastic, with an amazing view. Nothing to complain about, the bathroom could be better and no ac, but it didnt need it, but that's it.

PolandThe place is a bit neglected and lacked attention to detail. The mosquito nets were old and dirty, same for the mattress, sheets and towels. Overall both the room and the pool could be cleaner and better kept.
I really liked the staff - they were extremely helpful. For example, when we needed an early breakfast, they provided it without any problem. We also hired a very nice driver at the hotel. The location is good - the view from the pool is breathtaking. WiFi works well, there’s a fridge and a kettle in the room. We didn’t mind the geckos and a few ants in the room - that’s what you expect staying in a place like this. Breakfasts were great, especially the fruit bowl and banana pancakes.

ItalyThe room and property are clean, but the bungalows inside are in need of a refresh. Unlikely the view from the pool is not like few years ago (no rice fields view) because the new hotel right below the property, but still really calm and relaxing. If you are afraid of big gekos, ants and few mosquito.. think twice before booking..
Nice location and pool! Easy to rent a bike for 70 xday. Massage 150. Good value for money. Staff is helpful.

AustraliaNothing really, if you have a problem with stairs it wouldn’t be suitable
The view and peace and quiet are wonderful. We had a “deluxe” with a fridge and kettle (our friends room didn’t have this or a view so they had to go up and down many stairs for tea or coffee). Our room also came with a tv (our friends room didn’t), but ours was broken anyway so we couldn’t use it
