Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Listen, this is a perfect example of 'you get what you pay for'. It's a basic accommodation for a very fair price, if all you need is a place to crash, this is a perfectly fine establishment for that. Clean, basic, AC works.

aircon isn’t great. it was very aged, but what can you expect on an island homestead. they could improve the rooms massively if they put small bedsides tables on each side of the bed. there’s nowhere to put your stuff and everything has to be on the floor. but you get what you pay for
Izzi Homestay was good vibes, felt safe, staff were friendly and the included breakfast was yum 😊

Few repairs needed in the room and surrounds but overall was functional.
Breakfast was great, drinking water and location is excellent for the price. Staff were really helpful and close to good warungs for lunch and dinner.

There was a hole in the bathroom roof which seemed odd.
The guy running the place was great and extremely helpful. The bed was super comfy and the AC was great!

no AC so was very very hot! the bathroom smells but again you’re paying less than $5 a night so it is fine.
The property had a perfect location. it was great value for money, with breakfast included. but expect what you pay for!

The room was really basic, especially the bathroom looked like it could use some improvement.
The breakfast was good, the staff really helpful. I booked a snorkeling trip here, which was beautiful.

All good.
A great place to stay in Gili T! We stayed 1 week in the double room with fan and all was good. Big comfy bed, clean room, big bathroom and great wifi. Very nice and helpul people and they can rent you bikes etc. Breakfast was also good and you got few options where to choose. Can totally recommend Izzy Homestay!

It would be great if there was somewhere I could just get some tap water. But they were happy to provide some hot water for tea etc. The singing from the mosque went sometimes on for hours from 9 PM to 2 AM. Nothing to do about it. It is what it is.
Simple, comfortable and clean. I didn’t needed much luxury, since most of the time I was out on the beach. Tasty breakfast with coffee or tea and lovely family owned home stay. They also provide laundry service and great hospitality.

no hot water for the 4 days we were there and the shower wasn’t properly secured to the wall so everything and I mean everything would get wet once you shower breakfast could’ve been better, not much to choose from but it was free so can’t complain too much the biggest complaint is that the room gets very very hot and stuffy, it’s not unbearable but I’d recommend a room with AC better

Pretty basic room but really good value for money with breakfast included! The room was clean, the breakfast was tasty, the location is really close to the main strip along the beach and they have a super friendly cat who we absolutely loved! Don't expect anything too fancy but would recommend for an affordable stay.

The house was in a very convenient location, very easy to get around, the room was clean, comfortable, there was a balcony where you could sit. The staff of the guesthouse was a family, who were very kind and nice people, next time I will host them in their home again. There was no hot water, this is typical of all of Indonesia. The yard could be tidied up, it would be more pleasant. Thanks to Holid and his parents.

I don't know how this accommodation can have such a high rating. The room is quite small and dark even when you open the curtain. The walls in the room are unfinished. The bathroom is in a very bad condition, the toilet bowl looks like it was found in the garbage. There is no hot water in the shower, and there is no space on the sink to store toiletries. There were a lot of stains on the towels and even traces of old blood! There is no nightstand next to the bed to put things away at night and the rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms and from outside. I understand that this is an island and the prices are higher, but for what the accommodation offers, the price is very high and you can only pay by cash.
Very comfortable bed, air conditioning, friendly staff.
