Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWhen they said ground floor I didn’t expect to have to go two flights down. The place was tired. The linen was greying and the towels were threadbare. But we’re clean. The is no safe in the room .
It was good value for money. The staff were great. Our room had a fantastic view over the river into the forrest. The location was great . Breakfast was basic. You had the choice of 4 things which were enough . Unfortunately the hot foods were cold.

United KingdomYou could hear everything going on in the hotel with how thin the walls are. We were woken up multiple times by other loud guests up to 1am. This sadly ruined a lot of our time here as we didn’t sleep well.
Great hotel/ location. Amazing staff, They even surprised my husband with a cake for his birthday.

New ZealandWe arrived in the evening so I would’ve liked to have been informed that the property was down the end of a long, dark alley. I have been in contact regarding our room but I wouldn’t recommend room 18.
The staff (who always went the extra mile), the breakfasts, the location, the pool, the cheeky morning visitors, the close access to a local laundry.

TurkeyThe toilet seats needs a make-over and some other materials in the bathroom- i think this is the case in most ubud hotels at this range. Also the walls are so thin you can hear eveything going on in other rooms. These 2 negatives didn’t bother me that much but some visitors may be sentative.
Very good location, loved to see monkeys visiting in the morning, the staff was kind, nice view overlooking the pool and the forest.

United States of AmericaThere were always a lot of kids in the pool. I was there for 6 days and it never changed.
I loved the location… set back off the busy street just enough but so conveniently located to access the fun busy town with in two minutes. Loved the large room, the beautiful deck and landscaping and although the staff worked hard to keep the monkeys away, I loved getting to see them early in the morning for a minute or two! A/C was great and the bed was SO comfortable! Breakfast was really good! Nice to have real sausage with my eggs and fresh fruit! Great Laundry service down the ally!!

United KingdomA bit noisy at times, we were woken up very early by children running around and shouting whilst trying to catch up on some sleep due to jet lag. However still really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Lovely place to stay in Ubud in a good location. Room was very clean and had good air con and shower. Pool area is very nice but sometimes people would leave their towels and go out all day which I don’t agree with when there’s only four sun loungers. Staff really friendly and we had a nice balcony overlooking the pool.

TunisiaThe room was not so much noise isolated and the owners of the hotel live there with their children, so we got so much noise early in the morning.
The localisation of the hotel was perfect, very close to the center and lot of boutiques.

FinlandSome things are a bit worn down (like towels) but it's quite typical all over the country so wouldn't count it as a minus. This also is not really a minus but good to know: You find the hotel at the end of an alley from the main street (nicely paved so easy to roll down your luggage - car won't fit there). Also no elevator. Wifi worked a bit slow at times. And you can hear your neighbors quite well through the walls.
The hotel yard is lovely, comfortable bed, good AC, nice staff, nice little pool and fridge in the room and you get free water daily. Though I'd appreciate more free refills and not always getting a new plastic bottle. I would stay again and can recommend the place. You can see a monkey or two jumping on roofs, the monkey forest is really close by. Many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. It's safe area to walk around.

Fabulous setting on Monkey Forest Road. Down a little alley so you’re away from any noise. Some rooms have balconies looking out at the forest. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need including aircon and a fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great bars and restaurants just outside the resort.
