Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe resort is in a very remote place. This is part of the beauty, but it has it's downsides. For us, the biggest downside was being dependant on the resorts restaurant. It's not a good restaurant. Aside from the nasi goreng you can have for breakfast and the rendang for dinner, the food is bland and, in a country with amazing cuisine, disappointing. The restaurant is also quite expansive. The bedding smelled a bit funky.
We had a stunning view and the private bay of the resort is absolutely beautifull. The house was very beautifull aswell. We liked the bathroom, which makes so feel like you're outside, taking a shower in the jungle, but is actually completely screened in and bug-free. Staff was really nice. We liked that they provided big towels for the beach.

FranceReally nice place to stay if you want a break from the city!! The landscape are just AMAZING, it’s breath taking! The only thing is there is no sunbed on the beach or personal during the day if you want to take a drink or anything… but the place is stunning for few days!

Location is amazing. Very private. Pleasantly surprised their was refrigerated a/c even though was advertised. Power going off for a short period due to solar really wasn't an issue

AustraliaWe booked via Booking.com because we were booking many accommodations for this trip and it was easier to manage the bookings via one portal. We typically find that Booking.com rates are similar to the direct book rates (if not a little better) but in that case of Jeeva Beloam the rate charged via Booking.com was more than double the direct book rate (we found this out whilst staying at Jeeva Beloam). We did think it was expensive when we booked but foolishly trusted that the Booking.com rate was close to the direct book rate. We thought it was probably expensive due to the remoteness, plus we looked at the Jeeva Beloam website to find out information about the property and saw in the “Dining” section of their website:- "Due to the isolated nature of the camp, lodging at Jeeva Beloam Camp is all-inclusive with accommodation including all meals, coffee, hot tea and iced tea, juice, lemonade, fruit punch and water. Soda and alcoholic beverages are charged separately", so we thought this explained why. We told them this was misleading; they have since modified the website to reflect the truth. We have had a series of communications with Jeeva Beloam to try get clarity on the high charge. We were eventually offered a voucher for 2-night stay to compensate for the overcharge issue, which we accepted. We plan to stay some additional nights enjoying relaxing at this amazing place. I just did a test booking for a 2-night stay April 2026 (similar dates to our recent stay). These are the results: Booking.com: IDR 8,399,998 (AUD 794) Direct Book: IDR 4,180,000 (AUD 396) Agoda: IDR 4,325,908 (AUD408) The price difference between Booking.com vs booking direct or using another booking portal (Agoda) is significant and it feels very much like a scam. It’s not clear who is profiting off this, but someone is! Please learn from our experience and don’t just trust that you are getting a better or similar price by booking via Booking.com - BOOK DIRECT
We stayed at Jeeva Beloam Beachcamp for two nights in April this year. This place is totally amazing. The accommodation and ocean outlook are fabulous. The dining area is lovely and the food mostly quite good, but expensive for what was on offer. The portions were on the small side plus there were some items listed on the menu that were not available when we tried to order them). Restaurant hours are restricted, so we recommend bringing some snacks to keep in your room. The reception managers Lee and Pino were professional, warm, helpful – nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us the reception WhatsApp contact, so we were able to request cold beer or a pot of tea via reception when the restaurant was closed. The Jeeva Beloam staff make a good effort to clear the beach of the rubbish which is deposited at high tide, making the beach beautiful to hang out on in between delightful swims. One of the highlights of being down the beach was seeing the tracks in the sand left by transiting monkeys.

NetherlandsThe shower! For the price, you’d really expect that to be better taken care of… there were so many times when only a few drops came out. That really bothered me a lot.
I really loved the beautiful location of the hotel. The staff were super sweet! Special thanks to: Lee, Rizal, Nurris, and the chef – I believe his name was Aiden. And a special thanks to Novi for the great massages! I was very happy – she knew exactly where all my pressure points were. If I needed something, it could usually be arranged. Even when it came to the food – Nurris once even went out on his scooter to get me some coconuts. That was amazing and truly appreciated!

AustraliaFood was over priced and the quality didn’t match the price. We arrived in the afternoon not having eaten and were starving, planning to get something when we arrived with some friends. We were informed the restaurant would not open till 7.30 pm. I think it’s important the property mentioned this to people before travelling there.
Idyllic location, private beach with beautiful surroundings. Room was beautiful and bed was comfortable. It was quiet and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were sincere and kind, we especially like chatting with Norris:)

SwedenNothing. It’s good for people who expect five star city style that some things are different here. There is WiFi (new) but not strong. So don’t expect it in your room. The location is so isolated and quiet that there is no regular electricity but a generator and solar. So electricity is turned off a few hours every day. The restaurant has a small menu, good, with wine, but don’t expect five star dining. Overall, this is an amazing nature experience with peace and quiet.
Amazing location, directly on the beach with an unhindered view of the sea. Everyone has a house, with a big bedroom and a big bathroom. Dinner and breakfast in a separate building, also with a view. THE absolute best thing about this place is that it’s just 11 villas and no one else.

NetherlandsUnfortunately, the beach gets a lot of plastic from the ocean, like many other beaches in Indonesia. The JEEVA team works very hard to keep the beach clean but it’s very hard since people in Indonesia and around the world keep throwing their trash into the water. Most plastic that you see at the beaches around Indonesia comes from western brands such as Unilever, Danone, Colgate, P&G and comparable Indonesian big companies).
The secluded location close to nature. Beautiful location right at the sea. Fantastic view. Quiet, the feeling of being off the grid. Part of that was because of the fact that electricity and WiFi isn’t available at all times. This is rare these days and we loved it! Food was very delicious and staff very sweet and caring. Very peaceful and zen.

MalaysiaThis resort was out of this world! When we came it was new years eve, the resort made a special intimate new year celebration for the guest with the staffs and invited some locals to perform! There were dancing, drinks, fireworks - an unforgettable experience. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. They even arranged a driver to send us back to the airport on our last day and gave us one last stroll in town. Ofcourse, there wasn’t any connection but we were briefed well by the staffs and we knew from the past reviews. Great place to unplug and disconnect!

SingaporeAbsolute lack of overall management of property and staff. Delivery of good guest experience really an issue here. Few examples: No coffee in the room, lunch / dinner menu very limited, not changing and quality truly disappointing, no electricity and WiFi majority of the day,…. It is all about the location, but not convenient to stay. Staff doing their upmost best / super friendly, but seem lost and are not managed.
