Royal Kamuela is an oasis in the heart of bustling Ubud (and was undoubtedly the best of the five hotels we stayed at on our trip). It's a top class hotel with an excellent restaurant, pool area and gym. All of the staff were excellent.

There is a lot of private space . I was surprised how quiet the place is - even the occasional monkey family . High quality . Absolutely no mold in the rooms ..For a wet area , This place is especially great for those that are sensitive I stayed there during the silent day , and felt very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. .

One word "Amazing" location is perfect based in the centre of Ubud. Staff are amazing, friendly and can't do enough to make your stay that bit special. The food offerings are delicious and loads of options. The Swimming pool is modern with all new decking recently done. Even the monkeys were a fun touch. A must see is the Monkey Forest next door

Beautiful property. We enjoyed watching the monkeys from our patio overlooking the gardens. We felt so spoiled and pampered during our stay. We have an amazing private dinner for our anniversary and was it was so nicely decorated with rose petals. Breakfasts were fantastic. My husband and I both had the best massages so I recommend using the spa services!

The staff were unfailingly helpful, polite and gracious. The location worked well for us. The large pool made for pleasant swimming. You could enter and exit on different roads was convenient.

Lucky we checked entrance signage on street view prior to check in as it’s a busy one way street. Once you’ve passed it, long way to travel back around.
Excellent staff, location, spa package, private room villa. Impressive gardens, comfy bed, nice bathroom products.
