Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandOn the Friday night the next door hotel and venue was having a late party. They sent notification round, offering free guest list til 9pm and 1 beer for the guests of the cottage! Entry was infact free for everyone til 9pm and so it wasnt quite the good deal. Not that we went as we had party plans for the sat but needless to say it was VERY LOUD til 2am and this is from someone who likes clubs. Be wary if this venue has a big DJ night - most Weds, Fri and Saturdays I think as you hear every beat. Also there is construction going on next to the hotel - loud in the day with the sound of drilling.
Lovely location, gorgeous views and nice rooms. Good food menu. Nice breakfast included in the rate. This part of Bali is very very nice - we went to Suluban beach, Padang Padang and Dreamland and all were stunning.

TurkeyThe rooms are simple and a bit old. Although the hotel is in a nice place, the road that goes to the hotel is dark at night with no lights. It’s actually a short walking distance to the main street. But because of it’s dark it’s difficult to walk at night.
The view amazing. It’s so peaceful. In a very nice location and stuff is very friendly and helpful. Food was really nice too. Close to the beaches and cafes.

AustraliaThe rooms need block out blinds.
The property is in a good location, but still quiet. Beautiful view from the pool. Great water pressure in the shower. The hotel also has their own scooters for a good price.

AustraliaI knew about the noise from ulu cliffhouse next door, but it is loud and bassy. Bring a speaker for white noise and all is fine. We were lucky it was just one night out of four so can't complain
Wow, it's hard to top this view and this location. The pool was amazing, we could hardly leave to get out. The food was delicious, breakfast lunch or dinner. The rooms were huge and we could see the ocean from the front deck. The massage in the open spa with the sound of the ocean. A great happy hour. Rent a scooter for $10 au a day or just walk the 5 mins into the main ulu drag.

SingaporeThe room was massive, maybe just the interior design is outdated. The shower head is non-detachable.
It’s a very good location. I was able to explore a lot of tourist spots and beaches like Uluwatu temple, Pantai Suluban, Padang padang, Melasti, The edge, Single Fin etc. Not to mention that the Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng were great! It also has an infinity pool and a mini open air spa beside the pool. And oh, the cliff view!!! Will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

ChinaThere is nothing to eat around and the traffic is not convenient, but it's worth it to have such beautiful scenery.
The scenery of the hotel is very beautiful. I highly recommend it. Especially the sea view from the house makes me very amazing. The only pity is that I didn't book a few more nights.
