The kitchen facilities were very light on with a few additional kitchen ware eg some small saucepans, bowls for cereals and perhaps a microwave. There was a stove but no pots and pans to go with it. Our grandkids were sick during our stay and something light prepared in the room would have been fantastic.

I really appreciated the staff, their friendliness and willingness to help and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I also liked that the apartment was spacious although a little dated.

The bed could have been at a better condition, it felt pretty cheap and the view of my room wasn't the best because all I can see was the cement wall from the other side of the building. Also there was some insects in the room but it was bound to happen because of the location.

The breakfast was good and had so many options, which was good. I also like the gym, and the temperature of the gym was great, and I was able to work out without over-sweating. And the pool! That was the first thing that I went to and it was amazing, including the amount of space to lounge in.

The bar prices including taxes were excessive. The decking around the pools outside the suites was dangerous although I could see that it was in the process of repair.

In the standard room to the street it was super noisy. There was no chair at the desk and the aircondition did not work.

The room to the courtyard are nice and quiet, the suites are amazing

All satisfactory . Staff especially Sarah treated us like royalty. Provided great setvice. Husband had small fall . Staff could not do enough for us even providing a complimentary fruit plate to our room so my Husband could rest.

The setting up and use of the bbq around the pool somewhat interferes when relaxing and using pool in early evening. It really did get in the way. This most definitely needs addressing. The gym is located in the wrong place, very small with minimal equipment. It opens too late in morning at 0800. If it was located on ground floor away from bedrooms I am sure it could open at 0600 more people would use it.

Breakfast was lovely. Wide range of choice. Set out beautifully. The courteousness of all staff. Exceptionally presented, friendly and well mannered.

I had a late night checkin. The staff were friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic, and efficient. The room smelled musty when I entered. Living in a humid area, I know the challenges that it can take to deal with such an issue, but it is easily possible, and consistency is important to avoid the issue. The mirrors are slightly rusting around the edges. I tried to adjust the aiconditioning a message about the filter briefly flashed across the screen. I forgot to tell them about that. I called the front desk to ask for another blanket, but the staff member who answered said there was no spare blanket. The bedding was white but greying and older. The door to the pool had space that bugs could get through, but it was aircon cold, so it was less inviting for some bugs. When departing, I asked the only person not busy, who happened to be a trainee, if I could store my luggage while I do something before my driver arrives. The trainee in the morning was verbally stumbling to answer my question, maybe it was language and / or my english accent but another staff member acted quicklyandpositively.

Clean restaurant and reception area. Friendly fantastic staff. There was a nice patio walking to the pool from my room . The area was clean and quiet. The front of the building was busy, so the quiet poolside at night was great. Breakfast buffet fantastic.

There is an issue with humidity in the hotel. The smell of humidity was unbearable we had to ask the staff for an air freshener. They were very quick and kind on providing it but we needed to spray the room a few times a day to bear with the smell. The cleanliness was alright not the best but okay for the price I guess, specially the toilet the shower glass barely cleaned.

The staff are very nice and kind. The location is good and the food is alright. The buffet has a lot of variety and all food is halal. (They also serve pork)

Given the location, a short walk from the beach in Seminyak, this must be the most cost effective 4 star hotel around. It was lovely and the facilities and gardens were great.

Fridge in our room wasn’t working. Wasn’t too much of a problem. No other issues .

The breakfast buffet was just excellent. Something there for everyone catering for all tastes. The location was perfect. Close to everything, restaurants, bars and street shopping and of course beaches. The staff were brilliant. Always friendly and helpful with a smile and a greeting.

I guess I had the expectations of pre Covid and it’s a shame to see the hotel feeling a little run down. I could see renovations were taking place so maybe they are aware of this. Overall I can’t really fault much else.

I’ve stayed at the Haven several times before and have always enjoyed it for its convenient location and affordability
