Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing wrong with it at all
Nice clean room in a central location. 24 hour access. It's a Travelodge, you get what you expect! And this one offered free WiFi, which was unusual and appreciated. Also secure parking close by given that it was an area that's starting to get a little edgy.

IrelandReally really disappointed with the bed. Was supposed to be a double but was two singles pushed together with no latches to attach them and wheels left on. The bed moved as we did and split apart. Really spoiled our stay.
I love the location and in general I like and use a Travelodge a lot. It's my 3rd time in this particular one.

United KingdomThe booking.com strongly implied the room was a one with a bath (and costed more than one without) to only then find out it's actually either a bath or a shower and need to be requested. However the staff were lovely and rectified this on site, this was more a booking.com error than anything else
The room was pleasant and spacious, the staff was absolutely lovely and helped me with every request I had

United KingdomComplained about bathroom on departure, toilet didn’t flush properly. Fixed shower head too high up for my small height, so could not direct water adequately onto myself to have a shower, so I had to get a plastic cup & fill it with shower water to wash myself. Should have moveable shower heads! Did not complain or ask to be moved as I was in a rush to get ready to go out as I was performing in a show in Dublin, so restricted by time. Otherwise I would have asked to be moved immediately.
Location good, handy for public transport. Handy for places to eat & supermarkets. Beds comfortable & room clean. Secure parking good, but obviously you pay for it.

United KingdomJust really basic stuff in the rooms. Strong smell of cleaners around the corridors. For not much effort it could be a more cosy place.
Good price - clean and functional with shower and parking. The tea brand in the room was Irish and nice too.

United States of AmericaThe beds were extremely small and the queen-sized beds were just two small twins pushed together. The carpets in our room were really stained and gross but the beds and bathroom were clean. Probably a little overpriced for what was offered but fairly nice overall.
Very conveniently located right next to the bus stops and had Aldi's right next door, as well as other food options. The restaurant next door even had a small discount for eating there which was nice. About a 10/15 minute bus ride towards the downtown area. The bathrooms were a good size and the room was fine just for sleeping and getting ready. The staff was very nice and was very attentive with unlocking the main entrance late at night.

United KingdomAll doors need some grease on the hinges, it may seem petty however a door being opened at 2am had the potential to wake the entire floor, so bad.

IrelandThe hygiene in the bathroom could be better. There were random stains on the walls, door and the ceiling. The drain in the shower was clogged and the water temperature switch i believe was broken so the water was just about warm.
Very comfortable beds, blankets and pillows. It was nice to have a radiator that you could turn on whenever you wanted.
