We had a really enjoyable stay at pure magic lodge recently. Very hospitable staff. Excellent food. Cosy room. Looking forward to the next time.

I loved staying here I would love to of seen some tips on places to hike or sites to see. Don't worry we had a great time in Achill.Its really a great place to explore winter or summer We went to the deserted village Keem bay,Minaun Dooagh and had pure magic for pizza soup in Ted's and had dinner a night in the Amethyst. All very good.

All of the staff we're genuinely good at their job.We got a great welcome .It's ideal accommodation for travellers with interest in outdoor activities.The lady who checked us in was very nice.They have a restaurant on site with good pizza and yummy apple crumble too.The fact that they are unique place I love.They do it their way ( things like no tv in rooms or lounge).No frills yet great customer service and les repas sont très bien.

for those who like me travel without car could be tricky as there is nothing around. so you would have to walk for beaches, restaurants , pubs and places to see. sometimes long distance. once you rent a bike you are fine. i believe that the place should have someone available to solve this issue as in the island there is only a cab company and not always is available.

very friendly staff and accomodating. peaceful place, very clean. very handy to have also bar and restaurant on the site especially for those who travel without car as it is quite isolated. great breakfast. lovely girl serving it. also the food at night is fine.

The hotel is perfectly fine there’s nothing I would Say I didn’t like… perhaps consider putting a full length mirror on the rooms and maybe some hanging space but that’s just my opinion.

It’s a great base to explore keel and all the surrounding areas! Lovely chilled environment! The restaurant was just perfect for our needs. Even with a 3 year old. The girl that looked after us was very nice and helpful! Prawn tacos were amazing!!

I had pizza in the restaurant and it was lovely! Location was ideal! I would definitely stay here again, but i had the bedroom with no en suite, that was the only downside.

I really like this place. Check in was smooth and the staff were all very helpful. We ate at the restaurant one of the nights and it was good, very popular as well. Breakfast was exceptional - way better than we expected. There was a great choice available and service was very fast. It is quite remote, but so is most of the island! Lovely place to visit and definitely would recommend.

Slight leak from the toilet but nothing major. No bin in the room small one in the en suite.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pure Magic Lodge - the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast service was excellent and I the pizzas were exceptional. There was live music in the bar on one of the nights which was an unexpected bonus. The location is ideal - within walking distance of the deserted village and Dugort beach and a short drive from Keel and Keem beaches. It was a great base for exploring the island and I would definitely consider staying at the lodge again if returning to Achill.
