Parts of the room could do with work. Bathroom floor and furniture needs refreshing. Having said the the room and bed very comfortable and clean.

The atmosphere was lovely. We arrived Sunday late afternoon and there was a great buzz around the hotel. It has a cosy welcoming feeling....a bit like coming home. We had a drink on the lawn whilst our daughter fed carrots to the pony. Then, we had dinner in the bar. The food was delicious. The staff our all so friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely overlooking horses in fields and swallows swooping everywhere. A lovely memory of a lovely summers evening.

Mattress was lumpy and the bathroom fan noisy and needed repairing. In general a lovely hotel but would benefit from a refurb, but I would stay again

Nothing really to dislike, though upon arrival the receptionist was a bit off hand/dismissive, Certainly not a Warm welcome, but this wasn't the Norm, more the exception so it Stood out, and like I said above a Second chair is needed in the room.

The location was good, a few kms outside Mallow, but very easy to get into the town centre and the Racecourse, nice friendly staff on the whole, great food and a nice room , a second chair in the room is needed, otherwise no real issues, well priced also.

The location was nit conducive to good public transport or taxi service.

Tjhe best part of my stay here was the very helpfuk staff who drove me to a nearby park as well ad adriving me to the train station, in city of Mallow, which does not have good taxi servi ces.

A little bit expensive

Location is beautiful on it s own grounds as previously was an old private house. Has bags of charm. Very much a hidden gem. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic & staff were so welcoming. A real home from home.

There is nothing i can pick out. no complaints

The rooms are very comfortable and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and it has an old-fashioned family run business to it. i was travelling for work and have stayed there before and will stay again.

A very small thing , the service was lovely in a nice casual way, but maybe not always as 100% professional as it could be..

The hotel is charming, in a lovely setting. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked rather than a buffet which was nice The staff were friendly and helpful..

Hotel / bedrooms could do with an upgrade, dirty and dusty in places Tap was dripping in my bathroom which was annoying

Portion sizes are too big. You coukd save alot of money by streamlining serving size. Also, it would be great if the grounds had some nice walks.

The smell of the fire was a bit overwhelming but I'm used to that

Food was very good. Staff were very nice and attentive and friendly. Good value for money. Our little dog was made very welcome. She loved it there was the centre of attention which she loved.

Only negative was a noisy heating pipe somewhere above room 41. It rumbled all night.

The bar feels a bit dated. Food is unimaginative & average. We ordered glasses of wine (Spanish) that was not the house wine & it was not drinkable but in all fairness we not charged for it.

Staff were amazing. Friendly, attentive, helpful & always at hand to answer questions. I loved the ambiance of the old house. The location is fabulous.
