Was a little loud past 10pm with kids playing outside our window…. But they were very polite when I asked if they minded taking their game elsewhere.

Lovely property and was very busy with long weekend parties and family gatherings….

It’s a very busy place and can be noisy. Breakfast was disappointing. There were not enough tables on the one morning and I was placed in the drawing room, away from the buffet. The room has very low tables so they are completely unsuitable to eat scrambled eggs and toast off. I was also not given the choice then to serve my own fruit, yoghurt etc.The tables and menus were dirty. The room had not yet been cleaned from the night before. Hot water in the taps in the basin but my shower was cold The bathrooms are slightly outdated, but spacious.

This is a lovely old country house, well situated for my requirements, and near Doneraile Park which is lovely for walks. Rooms are very spacious. Nice pub for evening meals.

There was nothing to dislike but perhaps extending breakfast serving time on bank hol weekends might be a possibility.

Unfortunately missed breakfast as slept in. The very friendly receptionist offered us coffee/bottled water as we were checking out which we really appreciated. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and again the receptionist booked us a table by the tv in the bar to watch a match. The staff in general were welcoming and friendly and there was a very relaxed atmosphere on the premises. I very much appreciated the additional parking time on site.

Excellent value with a huge with huge room. A super breakfast at the excellent price of 12 EUR (possibly less, can't quite recall) in lovely grounds.

The rooms need a little TLC, especially the bathroom. I couldn't control the room temperature which ended up being quite hot. The building is beautiful but as it is quite old, there's little noise insulation and I was woken up by very inconsiderate and loud guests outside my door at 4am.

The thick quilt was heavy & I was too hot & slept very badly. I asked for a lighter one (it was August) but was told there were none. Our old wooden headboard was attached to the bedside cabinets & the whole structure banged against the wall. Needs to be modernised. There was a desk in the corridor to the bedrooms with a staff member doing admin work. I felt she should have been in an office, it was weird walking past her desk & computer. No room information folder, I was told this was due to Covid?

Great location, lovely view from our room. Very helpful & friendly staff & wonderful food. We enjoyed restaurant service in the bar on both nights & were very impressed. It was my husband’s 70th birthday & they arranged for a special dessert plate for him.

Had rrouble getting kettle to work but evenrually sorted it. Was going to ring reception but phone was not plugged in and did not find appropriate socket. Some smalk iem eg hairclip found on carpet next to bed Roon was a little dark as well.

We were sorry we did not eat breakfast at the hotel . Had a disappointing overpriced breakfast at Doneraille park. Room was large and comfortable

The showers in rack of the 2 rooms we stayed in dripped 24/7 and couldn’t be stopped, causing both rooms to mist up with condensation

Hallway carpet needs replacing

Loved the bed linen… the duvet was super cosy and I had a brilliant sleep. Temperature of the room was just perfect! The staff at all points of contact were extremely helpful. Room was so spacious as was the bathroom and loved the furniture and overall hotel vibe was busy and friendly. The staff were great.

A flashing light from ceiling smoke or other alarm which kept us awake. Notified Receptionist next morning who was most apologetic and professed that she was unaware of this but would get it fixed.

Good evening meal with bar food. Good breakfast choice. Comfortable bedroom and clean bathroom.

Nothing really although Sunday night music was loud near to my room12 so did not bother trying to sleep until it finished around 11.30pm.

Comfortable stay in nice hotel although only got there 9pm and away by 9am next morning straight after breakfast so hard to comment about the facilities as not really had chance to use.

We came for a family member’s wedding. We stayed in a chalet and it was absolutely wonderful. There is an extra sense of privacy and security you don’t usually get in a hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful . Would definitely recommend.
