Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Apartment was just as charming as advertised. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Location is brilliant, close to everything in the town and with a gorgeous French bakery downstairs for fresh bread, croissants and pastries. Isabel is a great host, lots of essentials provided in the kitchen with complimentary chocolates too. She was also great for advice on where to eat, drink and shop. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful apartment at some point.

Third floor location with 84 year old mum. But mum absolutely loved the apartment.
Perfect location, comfortable, stylishly furnished with quality linen and furnishings. Contact with the owner was prompt with answering any questions and she provided great advice for places to visit and restaurant suggestions.

All of it! Isabel, our host, was wonderful and so lovely. The house is one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in and was close to all amenities. Such a cosy stay!

Friday night in Donegal town centre is very noisy! I like fresh air so had the window open which unfortunately meant that I could hear partygoers well into the early hours. The square in front of the flat is obviously a place where everyone goes to wait for taxis and as the pubs close very late it means most people are very drunk and loud. Perhaps we were unlucky as maybe it was a wedding party or something. If I had shut the window and the shutters, the noise wouldn't have been a problem. Kitchen very small so best to eat out.
The flat was really comfortable and well designed and the location was very central. There was lots of hot water, the shower worked well, the bathroom was a good size and we were well stocked with clean, dry towels. There was a heated towel rack which is always a huge bonus. I liked the shutters on the windows and the brickwork on the interior wall of the sitting room and loved the view being at the top of the building. Isabel was charming.

The Suite was an excellent place to stay. It was so clean, cosy, comfortable and central to everything in the town. The host Isabel was very helpful and accommodating in every way. Highly recommend it.

The host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any of our needs. Location is perfect in the middle of the town with many lovely pubs and restaurants. There was also a really nice French bakery below the apartment. The apartment was cosy and quaint

I couldn’t fault the property
It was a beautiful apartment located right in the middle of donegal town. Rooms were lovely and cosy and it had everything we needed. It was lovely to be able to sit and relax in the morning and evening in the living area. Imelda is a lady so nice to deal with and made our stay hassle and stress free with check in and check out.

Bed is too small for two and matress little bit hard to sleep. There isnt owen at all, but you can get Iris breakfast many of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Apartment was super clean and it was in the center of Donegal Town. There us busstop and market just behind the apartment. Host was very kind and helpful.

The only thing was we couldn’t connect the tv to the internet to access Netflix and the tv had no sound.

Note that there are some stairs to get to the room, no wheelchair access. (Which allow for a great view overlooking the town from the apartment.) Perfect location in town!
PERFECT LOCATION, close to everything! Excellent host, Isabel, met us for an easy check in and had some great recommendations! The place was SO CLEAN, charming and everything smelled SO FRESH! COMFY beds, great location, very safe area! French pastry shop, coffee, shopping and pubs all nearby. Perfect location! Would definitely stay here again! (Great meal at the Olde Castle Bar nearby and excellent time on e-bikes around Donegal, rented in Carrick.)

Nothing, it was wonderful!
The location of this property is 2nd to none, and it has a lovely warm, cosy feel. Downstairs you have a fabulous French bakery, several pubs and wonderful restaurants all of which are on your doorstep. It is very secure, behind a locked gate, so you and your family will feel very secure. I loved it so much, I will be back in the future.
