Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Israel-location - noisy, but it's mostly because it was Purim and the bar downstairs was hosting a party, and besides, the hotel did do its best to reduce the noise by having 2 windows one after the other. -fridge wasn't clean, floor was a little diry in a few corners -shower was smelly -porch was wet and somewhat dirty
-right off the bat the owner of the place welcomed us and escorted us to our room + gave us coupons for a free beer and a free chaser in the bar downstairs. -many eateries downstairs + am:pm which is nearby so you can get pretty much anything you'd need at anytime -bed was very comfortable and clean. -generally cute and cozy room design. -muffins on the table :) -the interior of the room was clean overall. -we asked the owner to provide us with certain cooking tools if possible - and he did. -owner did his best to search for a Kippah so we could hold a Kiddush in memory of my grandma. -pretty much liked everything other than what's mentioned in what I didn't like, I could really go on for a very long time, it was genuinely a great time PLEASE NOTE: the pictures we've taken are pictures from after our stay, we tried our best to clean the room so we can make it look as identical as we could to what it was beforehand (for example: towels were neatly folded on the bed). Either way, it was similar, and I really liked it.

IsraelThe leaving part
We arrived at this beautifully renovated building at the center of downtown Haifa, following informative texts from the host (who is the best; even after I accidentally entered the wrong room he was super nice about it). The apartment is spacious, clean, well kept and although above bars&restaurants it is super quiet. Besides the perfect location for everything (nightlife, morning coffee, public transport, shopping etc) the apartments are privet, well designed and well equipped for a long stay as well as for a quick getaway from life.

IsraelThat the remote controls of the air conditioners and the tv hardly worked. Should change batteries. There could be more toiletry and more hooks to hang towels. And some good coffee and herbal teas.
Warm and helpful owner. Pleasant rooms. Enough space. Lightening is very good. Everything is comfortable and easy to use.

United States of AmericaPerfect location! The proprietor is very organized, with good communications before and during my trip. The room was pleasant and had everything I needed. The block is filled with cool bars and restaurants, but the windows blocked the sound at night.

IsraelThe shower is VERY small so it's not suitable for oversized folks, parents showering their children, elderly etc.
The owner is very kind, the room was bigger than expected and the kitchen was fully equipped.

IsraelCan't think of anything offhand. There wasn't a handle on the entrance to our part of the building. That should be remedied, because it is awkward.
Very basic accommodations; no surprises. The value was very good, because of the location. I hope they're able to offer breakfast in the future, or at least make a deal with a neighboring restaurant so they can offer breakfast.

IrelandThis is an artistic, funky hotel in the heart of Haifa’s arty cafe/bar area. My room had a view overlooking the action; great for people watching. Friendly check in.

IsraelA lack of door between the living room and the bedroom could pose an issue when multiple people are travelling, not a very big complain but the television only has news channels and not entertainment channels. The variety could be better
Pretty much everything, the cleanliness, the location, how the apartment has everything a traveller would want and need for their vacation in Haifa, the room was big and very comfortable.

BrazilIt was very easy to coordinate the check in during the dawn. The location is in a commercial zone, but it is safe, easy to walk and near by IZA bar ( and other restaurants and pubs), a very good place to drink a beer without problems. The room was very clean with all eletric/eletronic itens working fine (fridge, shower, air conditioning...). Very good place. I recommend.

IsraelWhen i arrived there was a cold bottle of mineral water in the fridge courtesy of the appartement hotel that just saved my arrival from energy during that very warm day from having to run to the store at that moment for water which was the first thing on my mind. The room shower and bathroom was very extra clean, nice linen white and color decoration. They also had some stored package muffins and cookies that just was perfect for arrival until i bought some groceries. Excellent working fridge and freezer. The owner was very helpful and kind.
